Just Like Heaven

I actually learnt what exactly is the meaning of getting caught red handed today. After kissing the girl I like and having dinner with her, and planning of watching movies with her sounds just like heaven but I didn't know it would turn to hell after we opened Jessie's room door.
We saw Ashley and Alex in the room and they didn't know we went out on dinner, I mean we would have always told them about it but themselves finding it out is worse. Ashley was shocked and said,"What are both of you doing?"
Jessica said,"Umm....getting into my r-r-room? Haha!"
"I mean why are both of you here?"
"We were b-b-bored and he called  me and asked if we could watch movies and he asked me to help him search the CD, so I went to his place and both of us got the CD here,right Chris?"
"Yeah, Yeah!"
Ashley almost bought that but Alex, that total idiot said,"Then why are you drenched?"
"Ummm.....Jessie fell out of the window"
I don't know what went through me but I said this and Jessie said,"Stop Chris! I only went after Lime as he tried to run into the road".
"Ya....yes!"
Ashley, looking at us in this very suspicious way said,"Then why isn't Lime wet...?"

Both of them could have become Sherlock Holmes if they actually used their detective skills somewhere else other than here....Seriously!😅😂

Alex said,"Guys, stop beating around the bush and tell us what exactly happen..."
Jessica said,"Ok fine. It wasn't our intention to hide this from you but because of the sudden bombardment of questions, we kinda answered in a way that wasn't convincing so, this is exactly what happen. Chris called me and asked if I was free and if I was willing to go to dinner with him. So while we went to dinner, it started to rain and it got us all drenched and we had dinner, though of watching a movie and we went to Chris's place and got the CD for the movie. Phew! Convincing enough guys?"
"Ok fine. Can I have a minute with you Jessie?"
"Ok Ash"
Ashley dragged away Jessica and went into the room while
"Hey Alex"
"Hi bro!"
"So How was your date?"
"It was really romantic and good. Wait.....did you guys kiss?!"
"OMG! Alex, keep it low"
"So you really did?"
"Umm...Yeah, how do you know?"
"Do you wear foundation?"

MEANWHILE IN THE ROOM
"What did you want to talk about?"
"I need more details,girl!"
"Ok so do not freak out..."
"Ok...."
"Chris and I...."
"Chris and you..."
"We kinda kissed"
"OMG! Really? How, when, why, Ok why isn't a valid question, where?"
"We were walking to the restaurant and it started to rain. We went under this roof and our eyes met and it happen..."
"Girl, you seriously have another side...."
"Shall we go watch the movie?"
"You already miss him,huh? Tell me, tell me..."

Jessica opened the door and came into the living area and all of us decided to watch the movie together.
This was my first time watching a movie with Jessica and it was really good. She was smiling to herself a few times and I wonder what that was about.... maybe after remembering the conversation with Ashley... it was late and by the end of the first movie itself, I could see that Jessica had fallen asleep on my shoulder and Ashley said,"Ok, so she is already asleep... don't worry I will get her to bed....saying this, she put Jessie's hand on her shoulder and took her to the room. She said,"I can get a cot to the living room if you guys wanna stay here".
Alex said,"Ok Ash"
All the three of us watched the rest of the movie and Ashley went into the room and slept while both of us slept on the cot and the couch.
"So you kissed her today"
"Not able to believe it right now...."
"Ask her out as it is a weekend and she is also going to be free..."
"I am not sure of it...of course I want to take her out but..."
"But what? It is either NOW OR NEVER, Chris. What if someone else enters the scene? What if she starts liking that person more than you? Will you want to see both of them together,huh! If someone has to be her boyfriend, I feel it has to be you...You both are like....A Match Made In Heaven...."
