I pulled Jisung up to my room and I jumped on my bed as he flung himself onto the beanbag I had in the corner.
"Oh Jisungie it's been forever since I've seen you! How's life?" I rolled over into my stomach and propped my head on my hands as I looked at him.
He chuckled at me. "It's not been bad. Im kinda glad to be staying here, but sad about the circumstances," he looked down as a frown took over his face. "My dad is still drinking and always brings different women home. I don't think he even notices that I'm gone."
I sat up and grabbed one of the small decorative pillows on my bed and threw it at him. I laughed when it hit his face and he got scared. "What was that for?!" He was about to throw the pillow back, but I stopped him.
"Hug it." He looked at me like I had 2 heads. "Hug it. When you're talking about life, hugging something helps. It's GirlTalk101." I smiled at him, then it turned into a smirk. "Speaking of which, how about my friend Mina, eh?"
His entire face went red and I laughed at him. "W-well I-I mean she's p-pretty cute."
"What about her is cute?"
I noticed him squeeze the pillow a little as a smile crept onto his face. "I like her hair. It looks so soft, and the way it falls right at her shoulders, it's perfect. And her eyes, they're not brown. They're a dark hazel and they sparkle when she smiles. Speaking of which, have you ever seen such a beautiful smile? The way the room just lights up when she smiles is amazing. And her voice, oh my god! I could listen to her talk all day! And last night when she was drunk, she was so cute! All giggly and stuff. And when she fell asleep, her little snores were so cute! Ahh!" He buried his face in the pillow as he screamed.
I laughed at my friend. "Oh my god, you're like a girl! This is so perfect! I'll set you two up. I know she's definitely interested in you, bud." I smiled at him as he looked up at me with a smile.
"What about you? I see the looks you and Hyunjin share." Now it was my turn to blush while he laughed. "Here," he threw me the pillow as his smirk grew into a grin. "It helps."
Should I tell Jisung? He's my best friend and I trust him. He just told me how he felt about Mina, it's only be fair. I reluctantly took the pillow and let a scream into before I even started talking.
"Okay fine. Last night when I saw him at the party, I thought he was pretty cute. Then this morning, he was kind of a douche, which oddly turned me on, but when he took me to train and then protected me, I realized that maybe he's not such a bad guy. We kinda had a moment when we were about to leave, but Chan's text interrupted. I just," I took a deep breath. "I don't know if he feels the same. Like, yeah I guess I like him, but I don't know if it's enough to do anything about it. He keeps kinda dropping hints, but honestly I think I'm reading too much into them. Am I?" I raised the pillow to my face and screamed again.
"Oh trust me, he definitely has a thing for you, princess," Jisung finished his snarky comment with a loud laugh that got cut off as I chucked the pillow into his head. "Hey!" Jisung took the pillow and held it again while pouting. "Anyway, it's pretty clear that he likes you. I think Minho had a slight crush, but when he saw how Hyunjin looked at you, he backed off."
I unknowingly was smiling like an idiot and blushing. "Ooh looks like someone's happy," Jisung teased me as he tossed me back the pillow.
"Oh shut up, loverboy. Just wait till I get you with Mina, then we'll see who's a blushing mess!" I threw the pillow back at him and it missed as he ducked down.
"Oh you asked for it, Rae!" He got up and walked towards me then jumped and started tickling me.
He knows I'm extremely ticklish, and he knew my most tickle-sensitive areas. Being the kind and loving friend he is, he got those first causing me to scream out and laugh uncontrollably. I was on my back as he sat beside me tickling me without stopping. Not even when my door was busted open by Chan and Hyunjin.
"Oh. Hey guys. Is something up?" Jisung acted like he wasn't tickling me to death and just looked at them questioningly.
"Well, we heard her scream and thought something happened," Hyunjin scratched the back of his neck and looked at me awkwardly. At least I think he did. I couldn't really see anything because tears had formed in my eyes from laughing so hard.
"Guys! Can you please... get him... OFF!!" I tried to speak but I kept laughing between words. Chan thankfully got my message and got Jisung to stop.
I stayed down on my back with my arms over my stomach and trying to catch my breath.
"Hey Jisung, why don't you come down and help us? Hyunjin, you can stay here with Rae. I'm gonna go get started on some dinner for us. See you later!" Chan walked out of my room, and Jisung said bye with a wink in my direction as he oh so subtly nodded at Hyunjin.
The air was thicc with awkwardness. The tension was so thick you could cut it with Changbin's unusually sharp jawline.
"So," Hyunjin cleared his throat. "Are you two... are you guys a thing?" Oh my gosh he's so shy all of a sudden! This is so cute!
I looked at him and burst out laughing. I couldn't stop. I rolled around my bed. And then off of it.
Hyunjin rished over and helped me up. "Are you okay?" He was extremely worried.
"I'm fine," I said between laughter. "Sorry, it's just," whew, breathe Rae. "I'm sorry, it's just, when you asked if we were together, he's like a brother to me! We don't see each other like that, and even if we did, I'm out of his league! And he has his eyes on someone else." I calmed down from laughing and sat back on my bed, signaling Hyunjin to do the same.
"Really? Oh! That's great! I mean I'm glad you guys are really good friends." He gave me a smirky-smile, if that makes any sense.
"Why?" I turned my body to face him.
"Cause it would have been really awkward for me to ask you out on a date, princess," he smirked at me as I forgot how to breathe.
