Prompt Two: "We stayed up all night playing Monopoly and I think I may have confessed some weird shit."

"Want to know why your default setting to me is taller than I am?"

"If I really cared, I could just check your memories and database," he sighed, "But continue."

"I totally have a size kink."

"I could have lived without that information."

Beilah chuckled, taking a sip of her Dr. Pepper, "Nope!"

Beilah and her SQUIP had been stuck in the confines of her home due to the raging storm throughout the afternoon and into the early nighttime hours. Beyond this, a new season of her favourite show would be out late that night (well, early that morning, technically speaking), and she had been planning on staying up to watch it all week. As she had no commitments the next morning, the SQUIP had no complaints about her staying up for the night. He had already run the calculations and had come to the conclusion that she would have a fairly easy time catching up on her sleep even after the all-nighter she planned on pulling.

He should have taken into consideration how weird she got while sleep-deprived.

Honestly. He should have seen this coming. Beilah was an absolute wreck during her and her friends' annual Summer sleep-over. Looking back at her memories of that was like watching a horrible sitcom.

At the moment, the two of them were sprawled out on the floor of the livingrooms, the TV quietly playing old Friends reruns in the background. Between them was a large Monopoly board strewn with small houses and apartments. They had bought up most spaces and were currently just working on trying to run the other into bankruptcy. Of course, SQUIP 6677 had an advantage considering he was a piece of highly advanced technology while Beilah was just a human. To level out the playing field, he had promised Beilah he would not interfere with her thoughts so that she could strategize against her.

Unfortunately for him, she was surprisingly good at Monopoly and they had come to almost a standstill.

Seeing as the game was slowing down and Beilah had last all of her brain cells for that day to the game and her Dr. Pepper, she began to speak without the slightest semblance of a filter. It was almost laughable how hilarious and strange she could act while completely sober.

"But really, I've gotta say," Beilah flopped onto her back, setting her drink aside so she wouldn't spill it.

"Here we go, again-"

Beilah promptly hit him in the face with a pillow. Of course, it merely phased through him, simply causing a ripple of glitch across his being, but it still sent Beilah into a fit of laughter.

"I take it back, you need to sleep."

"Make me."
"We both know I could," he raised an eyebrow at her.

"Mmmm, yeah, but fuck off."

He chuckled softly.

"As I was saying, height differences? Good shit," she blew a kiss into the air, seemingly at nothing but the ceiling, earning her an eye roll.

"Do you hear yourself?"

Soon, they pushed aside Beilah's weird comments about her, frankly numerous, kinks, and went back to playing Monopoly. As fun as it was, they weren't really getting anywhere, considering both of them had bought up most of the spaces.

Most of them.

That is until Beilah landed on the last space that hadn't yet been purchased and attempted to buy it. At that moment, the SQUIP remembered a very specific rule that most people tended to forget. A smirk spread across his face.

"Not so fast," he slid a couple of bills across the floor, equating to at least double what Beilah was about to pay, "I bid twice as much for the final railroad."

Beilah narrowed her eyes, "Oh, you wanna play that game?" She tripled her initial amount.

"Yes, yes I do," he met her gaze with one of equal intensity, pushing his own money towards the centre of the board, where the whole shit-show-like transaction was taking place.

Forty-seven minutes and eleven crudely-crafted insults later, Beilah had won the game. SQUIP had lost most of his money during the intense bidding battle and was beginning to suspect that Beilah hadn't ever had the intentions of actually purchasing that last spot. It didn't help him much, anyway, considering how infrequently Beilah landed on that space.

The game ended with SQUIP with several mortgages on his hands and a few dollars in debt, leaving Beilah incredibly pleased with herself after the whole ordeal.

"No need to get so cocky."

"You're a supercomputer and I, the human won."

He rolled his eyes as she continued to do a little happy dance before finally clearing the board and packing it all back into the box. The game had lasted for several hours but still left Beilah feeling incredibly content.

She returned to the living room with only another hour left before the show would air, leading her to settle comfortably on the couch in a pile of blankets. She flicked through the channels for a bit, searching for something to watch until what she really wanted to see would be on.

Fifteen minutes in, though, she felt her eyelids growing heavy and her eyes felt suspiciously dry. Her head kept tilting to the side slightly as she could barely manage to keep her head correctly level.

"Beilah?" her SQUIP's voice cut through the haze.

She simply let out a tired hum.

"I don't think you're going to be able to make it through the night," his voice was slightly gentle as he spoke, not wanting to disturb her clearly relaxed and tired state, "I can record it for tomorrow if you fall asleep." He had no belief that she would be able to make it to the start of the show.

She smiled slightly, eyes still mostly closed. "Thanks. Love youuu..." her words slurred together slightly with sleep.

He chuckled and guided her to lay down in a more comfortable position as she began to drift off. "Sleep well..."
