❝hey, jen.❞ donghyuck called and the older quickly turned to look at him.

❝what is it?❞

❝how did you became a fallen angel?❞

❝oh that? it's a funny story if you'd ask me.❞ jeno chuckles bitterly and then went back to focus on the movie both of them were watching.

❝it's because i broke one rule.❞

donghyuck only hums and ate his popcorn while watching and listening to jeno.

❝i… it… the... i broke the number one rule and that rule is not to fall in love with your human or a devil.❞

❝so you mean you fell for a...❞

❝i fell for them both. i fell in love with my master and with his devil.❞ jeno answered with a huge smile plastered on his face.

❝w-who are they?❞ donghyuck hesitated to ask because it might be a sensitive topic for jeno.

but he expected wrong. jeno's smile only grew wider, if that's possible, after donghyuck asked him. ❝they're renjun and jaemin.❞

❝they are?!❞ donghyuck had his mouth hang opened in shock but then smiled afterwards. ❝i'm glad you found them.❞

❝well, that's because love always finds us a way to reunite us with our lover slash lovers.❞ both boys chuckled.

❝you know, sometimes i kinda feel like i'm not really a human.❞ donghyuck confessed as he played with his hands out of nervousness.

❝well, i sometimes also feel sees my best friend in you. well, i mean my angel best friend, you get what i mean?❞ the younger nodded.

❝his name was donghyuck. we were friends and inseparable. he helped me with renjun and jaemin and i did the same with him, i helped him with his minhyung.❞ jeno looked at the younger male's eyes deeply as he saw those memories playing inside of it.

donghyuck let out a small nervous chuckle when jeno started leaning forward. ❝well that sounds interesting.❞

❝donghyuck. he── he asked taeyong, our lord, to cut his wings but taeyong refused and just sent him to watch another human as the human he's watching that time has minhyung as their devil. taeyong separated the two but still, their love for each other only grew bigger and stronger and later on, they found each other.

they were happy, but that happiness didn't last long when someone told jaehyun about minhyung loving an angel. he sent minhyung to his deepest chamber in hell and locked him there.

donghyuck was devastated. he didn't know what to do. he will never see his minhyung ever again as the devil was locked in satan's deepest chamber and that chamber is very well known as there are no devil who comes out from there, alive. they became ash when they finally found their way out of that chamber.

but minhyung was special and so is donghyuck. there's this prophecy that there will be an angel and devil who will fall for each other and once they have a kid, the baby will be the one who can break the curse that's surrounding heaven and hell. once that curse is broken, the devils will not be that evil and angels can fall in love with the devils.

i know it's such a lame prophecy but that's what i always hear from the older angels. okay, back to the story, donghyuck got his wings cut when he confessed to taeyong about him falling for a devil and at the same time, minhyung had successfully got out from that chamber. jaehyun was pleased with minhyung as he was the ever first devil to get out from there, alive that didn't turn into ash. and in return, satan rewarded minhyung to be his lover's devil who just became a human.❞

donghyuck now had tears falling from his eyes. he doesn't know why he was crying nor he understand the blurry memories that's playing in his mind. ❝c-can you tell me more?❞

❝no. i think jeno had done enough damage to you and he must go, now.❞ mark pulled donghyuck away from jeno who was smiling weakly. the raven haired boy badly wants to comfort his friend. he knows his hugs can calm his crying friend down but mark just had to step between them and stop jeno from doing it.

❝well then, i'll just see you some other time.❞ jeno smiled at donghyuck and it somehow atleast made donghyuck calm down a litte.

once jeno was out from their sight, mark forcefully made donghyuck face him. ❝what did i told you about jeno?❞

the younger wiped away his tears and removed the older's grip on his shoulder. ❝i missed you.❞ donghyuck wrapped his arms around the older's waist and buried his head on his chest.

mark stood frozen on his place, confused and doesn't know what to do. what does donghyuck meant? he missed mark? how?

❝minhyung.❞ donghyuck mumbled and it was enough for mark to understand what the younger meant when he said he missed him.

❝get away from me. and my name is mark not minhyung.❞ the older harshly pushed away donghyuck from him.

donghyuck stumbled back but he didn't gave up and stood right in front of mark── no, screw that.

he stood right in front of his minhyung. ❝i remember.❞
