❝i don't get it, how are my kids the chosen one?❞ donghyuck ruffled his hair out of frustration. he still hasn't found his kids and right now, he's talking to jaemin.

❝you know i know nothing about this kind of things. you should go to jeno and not me.❞ jaemin stated as he watch his friend pace back and forth while still carrying his baby sister.

❝dada, what's wrong with uncle hyuckie?❞ a little boy poked jaemin's cheeks repeatedly as it was the only thing that's entertaining him right now. well, besides from the sleeping baby girl his uncle hyuckie is carrying.

jaemin removed his attention from his friend and smiled at his son. ❝there's nothing wrong with uncle hyuckie.❞

❝who ish she?❞ the baby boy asked his dada while pointing the baby girl.

donghyuck and jaemin looked at each other for a moment before answering the little boy's question. ❝she's yoonhyun. she's uncle hyuckie's baby sissy.❞

❝oh~ just like xuanyi?❞ jaemin nodded.

the baby quickly got off from his dada's lap and went near his uncle hyuckie. ❝ish she a noona or a xuanyi?❞

❝she's a year older than you jingwei.❞ jaemin said and carried his little angel. ❝her name's yoonhyun, she's a noona.❞

❝ahh! i wuv noona!❞

jaemin gasped and quickly covered his son's mouth and took small steps back while laughing awkwardly. ❝i think j-jeno is at doyoung h-hyung's house.❞

and with that, jaemin quickly left with his son to go to his small cavern where they're visiting his mother.

❝who were they?❞ yoonhyun asked after getting woken up by another baby shouting. she rubs her eyes as she slowly looked up to her brother and poked his cheeks.

❝it's jaemin and your future husband.❞ donghyuck unconsciously said which earned a confused look from his little sister.

❝yoonhyun's future husband? like daddy and papa? we get married?❞

donghyuck frowned at his little sister's words. ❝what?❞

❝you told yoonhyun that he ish her future husband!❞

❝i still don't get it. why are my sons the chosen ones? i mean... okay. let's say that when i found out i was pregnant with yijun, the curse within the devils and humans was broken. but when i found out that i was pregnant with donghyun, nothing happened. nothing changed, all remained the sa── i mean, the angels and humans can enter hell and same goes to the devils, they can enter heaven.❞ donghyuck started rambling after getting inside of doyoung's house with jeno greeting him by the door.

he had asked his dad to look after his kids for awhile since he haven't found them and he really needs to talk with jeno about them.

as they walked inside the living room, donghyuck saw one of his sons playing with doyoung's daughter. ❝and now i'm starting to see my donghyun everywhere.❞

❝oh wait.❞ donghyuck didn't get to seat on the sofa as he quickly went to his son. ❝donghyun, what are you doing here? how did you even got here?❞

donghyun then stopped playing with the toy truck and looked at his papa. he smiled and cuffed his papa's cheeks. ❝donghyunnie wanted to see miyeon and yijun hyung helped me get here by flying!❞ the baby giggled.

❝papa, when will donghyunnie get to fly like all of you?❞ the baby tilted his head as he looks straight into his papa's orbs to look for an answer. every angels and devils that he sees that are either around his age or younger knows how to fly, yet he's here, just always sitting around corners while watching others fly.

❝ish donghyun sick? ish that why he can't fly?❞ the baby devil had his eyes all glossy. his vision unclear because of the tears. he removed his small hands from his papa's cheeks and wiped away his tears.

❝baby no, donghyunnie is not sick alright? he will learn how to fly... it's just that... it'll take time. yijun hyung is helping you learn right?❞ donghyun quickly nodded. every morning when he wakes up, he'll first eat breakfast with his family and his yijun hyung will then take him to the back garden of their mansion and teach him how to fly.

❝tomorrow morning, papa will also start helping baby donghyun to learn how to fly.❞ donghyuck said before going back to jeno and sitting beside him.

❝its not like they're going to need to sacrifice themselves right?❞

❝what do you mean?❞

❝all of you says that yijun and donghyun are the chosen one. that they're the sun and moon. i had read some books about every chosen one and in the end, they always sacrifices themselves.❞

donghyuck then buried his face in his palms as he mumbles, ❝jeno, i'm scared.❞

❝then don't be. we're not going to let anything bad happen to them.❞
