❝what was that thing?❞ donghyuck asked after the creature left and taeyong landed on the ground with a loud thud and his son didn't waste a second to help him.

❝are you alright?❞ donghyuck asked as he helped taeyong stand up. the older just nodded and was guided to seat by the couch.

❝that shadow is my... no. the owner of that shadow is the netherworld's evil queen. she sent it here to take you donghyuck.❞ jaehyun said as he approached his injured husband.

donghyuck raised a brow at his dad. ❝okay... how'd you know?❞

❝she's... she's my mother. your family and my family has a bitter and bloody-ish history. my mother was once a good queen even though she's the queen of the netherworld but... ever since my dad died because of taeyong's parents, she became what she is now. she wants vengeance.❞ jaehyun bit his lower lips once he finished talking and sat down beside his husband and took hold of his hand.

he then looked up at donghyuck who has mark behind him to comfort him. ❝she kinda became immortal after my dad died. but there's a prophecy that yijun and donghyun, the products of true love and the sun and moon, they'll be the only ones who will be able to kill my mother.❞

❝what? b-but jeno told me about a prophecy about when an angel and a devil falls for each other and their kid will break a curse──❞ donghyuck's words was cut by jeno who stood in front of them with a sheepish smile.

❝there's many prophecy about your family with mark. it's in your book, the one that's entitled 'who am i?'.❞

donghyuck squints his eyes with all of the things he had just learned. he just want a peaceful happy family with his mark but every time they have a happy moment, something or someone always gets in the way and ruins it.

hearing his dad talking snapped him out of his thoughts. ❝she's the one who took your sons. she wants to kill them before they kill her.❞

❝and she's also the reason behind the whole mark going to the chamber thingy. she was controlling me all the time ever since i was forced to leave you and your papa! i only got freed earlier when she came to get yijun and donghyun...❞ jaehyun looked down on the ground, feeling ashamed and embarrassed by everything. his hold on taeyong's hand slowly losing. he then stood up to leave but someone took hold of his wrist before he can do so.

❝dad, where is this netherworld? is that connected to hell or what?❞

❝no, only certain people can get in there. but with a little help of our devil friends.. we'll surely get there in no time.❞

a smile slowly found its way on donghyuck's lips. he's just super thankful that his dad didn't run away and is willing to help them, unlike some other guys. ❝and we'll save my kids... we'll save our sons.❞ donghyuck said while looking at his mark.

❝we will always find a way to be together sunshine, just don't lose hope.❞ mark whispered as he smiled back at his donghyuck before quickly stealing a peck from him.

❝i never knew you that an evil queen actually exist in real life. my papa had read me snow white and i had watch the movie thousands of times and never once had i thought that such an evil queen like you exist.❞ yijun said and pouted afterwards. he was tied up by a torch pillar that's right next to the evil queen's throne and donghyun was on the other torch pillar.

❝i might be an angel on the outside but i swear to my ANGEL ancestors, if i were you, i wouldn't dare touch donghyun because if you ever do, you wouldn't like what i might do to you.❞ yijun gritted his teeth while still struggling to get out from the ropes around him, his eyes watching every move of the evil queen.

❝you sound so much like a grown up my dear. your papa really did a great job raising you, i am proud of that for my dear grandson but for donghyun...❞ the evil queen let out a bitter chuckle as she glanced at the little devil on her left.

❝hyung!❞ donghyun suddenly shouted which surely alerted yijun in an instant and did his best to get out from the ropes around him.

❝you'll just get yourself tired my dear, stop using your strength dearie. you're just wasting it. whatever you do, you will never get those ropes off of you.❞ the evil queen said as she stood up from her throne. ❝you two better be a good boy while granny go somewhere and prepare something.❞ she said before disappearing with the purple smokes she created.

❝donghyun? you still there?!❞ yijun shouted, still struggling to get out from the ropes around him.

❝hyung! i'm scared!❞ the younger cried out loud.

❝don't worry baby brother, hyung will find a way to get out and save you.❞ yijun whispered and stopped struggling out from the ropes and slid down till he sat on the ground.

❝papa and daddy will find us and they'll save us. they will always do.❞ the baby angel smiled through his tears.

a minute passed after thinking deeply and getting almost drowned in his thoughts, yijun suddenly stood up again after hearing someone banging at the door.

and he can't help but have a huge smile plastered on his face. ❝i told you our parents will find us!❞

the door then burst open and there they were, their parents in their angel and devil form. ❝yijun! donghyun!❞ their parents shouted before going to both of them. mark going to yijun and donghyuck to donghyun.

❝you guys found us!❞ donghyun giggled as his papa run his way towards him.

❝oh my, such a heartwarming family reunion.❞ the evil queen walked inside the room. ❝but i'm not interested.❞ she clicked her tongue and went to sit on her throne, giving mark and donghyuck some more time to free their sons.

❝don't worry about me, take your time freeing your sons my grandchildren.❞

this story have started becoming like once upon a time :/ i really am obsessed with the series that i one of my stories slowly has it's plot becoming like it...

but let's be honest here, i now know where i am going with this story and how i will end it, all thanks to ouat.
