"I ship them already"

We all were wired up now and the video Ash had taken wasn't helping. We all looked at each other, waiting for someone to say 'Hey! Why don't we...' but no one spoke for what seemed like ages. That is until Calum jumped up out of his seat and ran to the kitchen. "I've got an idea!" he shouts through the wall, "Who's up for a game of truth or dare?" The boys groan. This is something he'd discussed with them.

He comes running back like an excited schoolboy, carrying a glass bottle containing a clear liquid.

So... This is happening.

Calum herded us into the living room and instructed us to sit in a wide circle. He now had the tone of your strictest teacher, as he taught everyone the rules for this revolutionary version of 'truth or dare'.

"We'll spin the bottle to see who goes first. After that, it goes around the circle clockwise. The options are:

.Truth

.Dare

.Spin the bottle.

You spin the bottle, and whoever it lands on makes up the dare/truth. I think it's pretty obvious what you have to do if you pick 'spin the bottle'... OOO, and you can't dare someone to spin the bottle or anything like that, but you do have to choose each option at least once. If you refuse to do what you've been told, then you'll have to drink from the bottle and I have no idea what's in THAT particular bottle" The façade drops, and he bursts into a fit of giggles because he DOES know what's in the bottle, he just ripped the label off it.

"So, let's get started!"

For me, the circle went like this clockwise, the girls (Lauren, Annalea, Hannah and Ellie), then the boys (Michael, Calum, Luke and Ash was to my right). The bottle was spun and it lands on me.

Surprise, SURPRISE!

"Truth, dare or spin the bottle?" Erm...

Come on! You're fearless! You can do anything!

Well, might as well get this over with...

"Spin the bottle!" I said defiantly and smirked when even Hannah didn't see that coming. I grasped the bottle firmly, and span it quite violently, so it spans around multiple times before it landed on Michael. There was a couple of 'ooh's and wolf-whistles, and a, "Get in there!", which I think came from Lauren.

Looking around the circle, the girls were joking around. Ellie said, "I ship them already" and the rest of them burst into a fit of giggles. The guys took a different approach. Luke got behind Michael and started to massage his shoulders, while Ash gave him a mock pep talk like he was about to go nine rounds with Mohammed Ali. "You can do this! This is what you've been trained to do. This is what you've been waiting for. Use the Force! Move like a lizard, sting like a scorpion!"

Calum wasn't anywhere near Michael and as we walked away towards the kitchen (we wanted to do this in private), I caught him giving Michael daggers. It looked like he was going to MURDER him!

We stood in the archway that would have been the doorway to the kitchen if the kitchen wasn't open plan. I leant against the wall, while Michael stood about a foot in front of me. The tension and awkwardness were just TOO much, I had to say something!

"How do you want to do this?"

"Erm... How about I kiss you, then once we're sorted you kiss me back?"

"Okay. Go for it." I tried to sound happy-go-lucky and carefree when I was a bag of nerves and had the worst case of butterflies known to man. He took a step closer, closing the gap between us in one movement, and I couldn't help but smile. He's just under a foot taller than me, so when we're standing next to each other, the top of my head is probably level with his pecs.
