SMUT WARNING! It's at the very end of the chapter. The starts obvious, so skip it, if that's what you want.
No one knew who we were because of the masks. It was quite refreshing. No screaming fangirls running up to us, asking for autographs and/or pictures, no stalkers asking really personal questions that are really offended if you don't answer and no security guards restricting what we can do.
We lined up on one side of a field covered in hay bales, fake pipes and other things that could be used for cover and I was pumped! I could feel the adrenaline rushing through me as I tensed my muscles waiting for the whistle, the sign for us to start and get messy. I knew that when I started stretching and pretended to be an American bodybuilder that I was taking this too seriously, but years of playing 'COD' and 'Gears of War' had prepared me for this moment, and I was more than ready to carry my team.
Luke gestured to all of us and we obediently walked over to where he and Hannah are half squatting, half leaning. "Who's up for a challenge?" I immediately nodded, surprising everyone with my eagerness. "Alright, dear! Calm down!"
"Someone spiked her cornflakes!"
"Well, let's just hope that she has that energy later." I laughed at Mikey's inappropriateness, the twinkle I saw sent a shiver down my spine. The collection of nervous nods and cheers showed everyone's up for this 'challenge'.
"Most deaths have to do all the cooking and cleaning and that includes laundry-" That got a groan from everyone. No one wants to wash another person underwear if they can help it. Laundry in the 5SOS household is a midnight affair that happens in secret under the cover of darkness. "-and the most kills gets to use 'The Roof'."
'The Roof' is the room at the very top of the house. It's usually used as a band rehearsal room because it's fully soundproofed, but there's also an adjoining bedroom that's also fully soundproofed... Even Anna perked up at the prospect of using 'The Roof', to Calum's surprise, which in turn made him want to do his best. That and the excited spank she gave him.
We all agreed to the conditions of this challenge, then split up into various places of cover. We'd all bought different coloured paint, so we should have been able to see who'd shot who. We tensed up, ready to charge at each other when a portcullis opened on the far side of the arena and even more people seemed to flood in. I looked over at everyone else and just shrugged. Even more chances to get to 'The Roof'.
The wait for the whistle was unbearable, but when it went off, I was ready. I peeped out from behind the pipe I was using for cover and immediately saw Allie trying to run towards the 'enemy' coming at us through the scope on my gun.
Perfect opportunity.
I managed to shoot Ellie in the leg, but I missed Ash completely and before I could move, I was shot in the side by Hannah!
Wow... she's taking this even more seriously than I am!
I smiled and shot her back, then ran away before she can shoot me again. I immediately regretted moving quickly. A shooting pain covered my side as the impact of the purple ball caused my skin to break and a small amount of blood to flow, creating a red stain on my jumpsuit.
Through teary eyes and a steamed up visor, I saw Mikey surrounded by the 'enemy', but he was doing quite well defending himself. He'd only been shot twice and the enemy was covered in bright orange paint.
I wasn't really bothered about 'The Roof', I was doing this for the adrenaline rush I got. I sniped the people trying to climb over the pipe he was using as cover, then decided to show off by jumping, spinning, and then shooting some poor soul in the head on my way back down. "OHHHHH! MLG 360 NO SCOPE!"
