When this story's done, I have a Fraxus AU that I'm gonna make, so hopefully you'll enjoy that and stuff. ((;

Meaning: let's get this shit finished so I can make something good.

(Wtf my room smells like cake I love it.)

------------------------------------

Natsu and Gray sat at Magnolia's train station. The train they were waiting for was going to take them to a town in the other end of Fiore.

Away from Fairy Tail.

Natsu was completely empty on the inside, and a mess on the outside. He would leave this place forever, start a new life, a new life with Gray. But he wasn't ready.

Occasionally he remembered that Gray's arms were around him, and suddenly everything was a bit easier. But only for a couple minutes.

Finally, the train came. Gray almost dragged Natsu on board.

Natsu was so anxious. He didn't want to stay here, but he didn't want to leave. And then there was the ten hour train ride. Natsu couldn't really decide what was worse.

They sat down in the far back of the train. Their bags took a lot of space, and they basically had to shove the last bag into its spot.

Natsu curled up on Gray's lap and fell asleep. Gray knew that he hadn't slept in a few days, and let him be.

He looked down at the fast asleep dragon slayer. He looked like a little girl after an exhausting day at an amusement park. Minus the crazy smile the little girl would've had.

Gray sighed before he bent down and kissed Natsu's cheek.

"You're not alone, Natsu Dragneel. I will protect you."

[**************]

Natsu opened the door to the apartment. Or, he tried to. The door barely opened. He sighed, pushed the door a little more and stepped inside.

The apartment felt sterile like a hospital room: white walls, white ceiling, almost no furniture. Plain empty. Natsu was reminded once again about the hole in his soul.

Natsu wasn't even hungry. They had brought sandwiches on the train, but Natsu hadn't even touched them. Which was weird, because this is Natsu Dragneel, folks, and if he gets the chance, he eats.

Gray went inside as well, set down the bags he was carrying and put his arms around Natsu. "This is our home," he whispered, and instantly Natsu's eyes were filled with tears.

They started to unpack, starting with clothes and books. Then Natsu went to sleep, but Gray continued to unpack, putting up decorations.

After about an hour of unpacking and decorating, Gray sat down in the kitchen. He sighed as he realised there was no food. This... Everything was just too much.

Gray went upstairs to the bedroom to check on Natsu. He had fallen asleep again, this time on the bed, but it wasn't a very deep sleep. He kept turning and mumbling, and Gray couldn't help but crawl into the bed himself.

He put his arm around the dragon slayer, which stopped the mumbling. Gray looked at the pink locks that had fallen in the other mage's face. Natsu looked so little and cute again and Gray loved it.

Gray fell asleep to the look of Natsu's face.

Natsu woke up and felt a strong arm around him.

"Gray is here."

He opened his eyes and saw Gray, asleep, beside him on the bed. He reached up and stroked the cold cheek. Gray was awakened by the warm touch. His eyes opened, and then they were just lying there, staring into each other's eyes.

Natsu sat up, dragged Gray up as well, and hugged him tight. Gray hugged back.

Natsu opened his mouth to speak, but closed it again, thinking a little about what he should say. He sighed, and spoke.

"Gray, I'm hungry, do we have any food?"

Gray sighed but smiled. "Way too ruin the moment, fatass."

Natsu smiled. "I was thinking about saying 'I love you', but then I felt like it was too cliché so I changed my mind. Not that it's not true."

Gray hugged him even tighter. "I love you too," he whispered in his ear. "Let's go grocery shopping."

Natsu yawned. "You can go yourself."

"Then I'll only make vegetarian food for the rest of the week."

Natsu gasped in fake shock and then he shook his head."Uh-uh, not happening."

Gray let go of Natsu and saw his shirt on the floor. He grabbed it and put it on. Natsu put on his clothes as well and they went out to find a grocery store.

When they got home, Natsu was acting all sad again. So when had put away all the food, Gray put his arms around Natsu, and his lips on Natsu's. They stood there, in the kitchen, caught up in the moment.

They stopped and looked into each other's eyes, for a short moment while catching their breaths, and then they heard knocking.

Gray almost spit on his partner as he tried to talk. "Who the hell thinks they have the right to just come and knock when we're busy?"

Natsu sighed and went and opened the door. He froze when he saw the person on the other side.

Gray wondered why he didn't hear any voices. "Natsu, what's going on over there?" He stepped out into the hallway. "We never fin- Oh, uh, hi, Loke. Why the hell are you here?"

Loke was standing there, in his human clothes. He was looking hella fine to say the least.

Loke sighed, tears in his eyes. "Well, my master's dead, and I had nowhere to go. I thought I could go to Fairy Tail, but when I heard you two had moved, I decided to come after you. And well, Gray, you're here."

"What the hell is that supposed to mean?" Natsu thought.

Loke noticed the shocked look on his face and laughed slightly.

"If this is some love declaration, then I'm gonna punch you through a fucking window, I'm so done with that shit" Natsu said. "I was feeling less depressed, and then you came to ruin it all. Way to go."

Gray looked into Loke's eyes. "Believe me Natsu, this is not a love declaration. This is so much more."

-----------------------------------

Huh, Natsu got a little bipolar. Also, shit's going down. We're all like fall out boy up in here ((;

Psht I know, I suck.
