I don't know where I'm going with this. To anyone reading, just wait for me to write a new, good story, that isn't this dragged out and boring.

I THINK THIS IS THE LAST CHAPTER BECAUSE I'M NOT FEELING THIS STORY ANYMORE I MIGHT WRITE AN EPILOGUE IF YOU WANT.

(The end sucks.)

Gray hugged Natsu tightly. He didn't want to let go. Natsu was shocked, confused, and tired. He sat up, coughed, and looked at Gray.

"Did you and Loke... do anything?"

Gray looked away.

"Gray."

He sighed. "Well, he did try some... things a couple of times. We made out once, but it didn't feel right, so I told him to leave and..."

Natsu broke him off. "Give me a day or two."

And then he went into the bedroom.

Through the rest of the day, sobs could be heard through the walls. When the crying stopped, Gray walked into the room and found Natsu asleep. He went and made a sandwich, and he put it on the table next to the bed.

Half an hour later, he checked again. The sandwich was gone.

That night, Gray slept on the couch in the living room. Or, he didn't really sleep, he stared at Leo's key lying there on the floor.

When he finally started to fall asleep, he suddenly remembered the moments Natsu had been talking about earlier, and he woke up in an instant. He went to the bedroom, sat down on the bed, and began to slowly stroke Natsu's cheek.

Natsu opened his eyes slightly, but the room was so dark Gray couldn't see it.

"Don't ever leave me," the dragon slayer whispered, tired.

Gray hugged Natsu, and laid down beside him and put his arms around the now skinny body, and put his face into the soft pink but slightly dirty hair.

"I won't. I love you. Tomorrow, I'll go look for a job. Let's start a new life."

*^*^*^*^*

Natsu sat up on the bed, his sleep had once again been disturbed by nightmares. Gray was still there beside him, and woke up as well when Natsu moved.

He looked at the time and sighed. "Breakfast?" he asked Natsu, who slowly nodded as response. Gray went out to the kitchen and Natsu was left alone in the bedroom.

Natsu got up, and he could almost feel the rings under his eyes. His body was like cooked spaghetti, and no matter how much he slept, he didn't get enough rest.

He put on some sweatpants and a T-shirt and opened the door to the hallway. The smell of pancakes filled hos nose and if he had more energy he'd run as fast as he could to the kitchen.

He walked slowly, not knowing what to do when he arrived to his destination. His appetite was almost nonexistent, but when he sat down at the table and got the pancakes in front of him he turned into the old Natsu for a moment and ate.

Even though it wasn't that much it was an improvement compared to the past days.

When he was done eating he looked at Gray and didn't quite smile but something close to that. "What did you say about working?"

"I said I was gonna get a job. Just so we have money.

"Are you gonna join a guild?"

Gray shook his head. "Not now. Maybe in the future. We still have a lot ahead of us."

Natsu sighed and looked down at his empty plate, which had bits of various pancake toppings. He picked up his fork in his right hand and started to play around with it, just to do something.

"Do you want more?"

Natsu shook his head and stood from his seat. He grabbed his plate, but Gray told him to leave it, so he did and went back to his bedroom.

He ran a hand through the tangles in his pink hair. He decided to do something, just something new, and it would be refreshing and depressing at the same time.

A hella good start for a new life.

^*^*^*Three days later*^*^*^

When Gray came home from a third hectic day of job searching, a smell he didn't recognise lingered in the apartment. It wasn't very strong, but the artificial smell was invading his nostrils like crazy. He took off his light jacket and his shoes before walking into the apartment.

The bathroom door was slightly opened, and the smell was stronger close to it. He opened it more and found some blue colour on the sink. Confused, he walked out of the bathroom, and went to the kitchen to make some food.

He almost jumped in shock at what he saw.

Natsu was sitting at the table with a medium sized sandwich on a plate in front of him - improvement, Gray thought, since he was eating. But that wasn't the most surprising thing.

His usually pink hair was, well, not so pink. The spikes were gone, the hair was shorter, and the hair that hadn't been cut off was a dark blue, almost purple, colour.

It was pretty, but different.

"What the hell Natsu?"

Natsu turned around and smiled. Not a very big smile, but it was something.

"The true start of the new life. A change. Care to join me?"

"I'm so not colouring my hair."

Natsu sighed. "That's not what I meant."

"I know." Gray smiled.

Natsu stood from his chair and went over to Gray.

"I know I'm fucked up, but help me out?"

Gray smiled. "Yes. I'll be your psychologist. Also, you feeling like joining me in bed tonight?"

"Maybe."
