HEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So, I've fallen into the hole that is the sanders sides fandom. If I don't update for ages, it means they've got me.
Anyway, I got this really cute notebook to plan chapters in! I'm so happy! Maybe if I carry it around enough I'll actually have motivation to write consistently.
So enough jabbering,
Време за история!

Piper's POV
"Wait, let me get this straight, there are talking pictures?" said Nico incredulously as he stared at Cayden, who grinned. "Man, you guys are gonna love Hogwarts." he said exchanging looks with Divani. "Yup. Also, how come you don't have talking pictures in America?"
I grinned as I felt the train slow down. We didn't have to answer that question. An intercom crackled to life. "Please make your way to the castle. Your bags have been taken up already." The train was then filled with sounds of people getting up and entering the already crowded hallway. The air was filled with excited chatter and joking around from the people talking to their friends. It was clear that they couldn't wait to get back to school.
Strange. I thought this place was supposed to be different after You-Know-Who took over.
Divani got up and brushed off her cloak. "So basically, we get down and head to the horseless carriages, which will then take us down to the castle. Got it?" Horseless carraiges? Who the hell uses carriages? Apparently my confusion shone through, because Selena grinned.
"Just follow us."
We followed the three down the hallway, which was still filled with black-cloaked students, the only color in the sea of black and grey were the crests and tie's that were also part of the uniform. I personally couldn't see the need for the hats. Ties? Annoying but makes sense. Cloaks? Alright, their wizards. But hats??? Really? I'm not waddling around a castle wearing a triangle on my head okay! They don't even have brims! We made our way down the hallway and were about halfway down when Hazel spoke up.
"Hey Pipes, is it just me, or has the train gotten colder." I frowned at Hazels question. I hadn't noticed it before, but the temperature did seem to be dropping.
"It's probably nothing." I mumbled, but I didn't believe it. Moments later, a freezing draught was sweeping around our ankles, chilling our legs and making students cloaks flap around their shoes.
The train was now freezing cold, making students shiver. There was the noise of someone coming on board, and voices hushed and students fell silent. I looked down the hallway suspiciously. What could have made them stop?
A man in black robes who was wearing a mask had climbed into the train and was examining the hallway curiously. "Where is Lisa Farrington?" he snarled, glaring at a petrified first-year.
I-" she girl fell silent at the look the masked man gave her. "DID I ASK YOU TO SPEAK?" he yelled grabbing her by the front of her robes. The poor girl looked petrified. "N-no sir..." she stammered, her voice shaking. He sneered as he threw the girl back into the crowd of people, who hurriedly shoved her behind them. I looked at this guy in shock. Who did he think he was! I had no doubt he was in league with Voldy, but that couldn't be allowed! This was a school!
He turned to face us, addressing the entire train. " Lisa Farrington. Your father has been found guilty of being a mudblood. Nasty suprise, ain't it?" He grinned, displaying filthy teeth. "For the rest of you, there are dementors outside. If any of you perform a patronus, he or she will be tortured." The silence in the hallway was so thick that you could cut it with a knife. "You might have boarded this train hoping to come back to your beloved Hogwarts, but things are going to be run differently. The Dark Lord can see you. And if you defy him..." he gave a dark chuckle. "We're going to have some fun." And with that, he turned and left the train.
All was quiet for a few seconds, and then the hallway flew into entropy.
"He can't do that!" bellowed a ginger haired boy, his eyes full of fury.
"McGonagle would never stand for this!" cried a dark haired Slytherin girl.
"Snape has to go!"
"DEMENTORS???"
"I want to go home." sobbed a girl next to me as her friend put her arms around her shoulders.
I turned around to look at the others. Hazel was looking around helplessly, and Nico was wearing a stone cold expression.
"They can't do that!" yelled Will, staring at the door from which the man had exited.
"I know." said Nico glaring at his shoes like they were emposai.
"This is sick." spat the son of Apollo staring at the hysterical students.
"I get it. But we have to do what we were sent here to do. We don't have any other choice." said Hazel sadly. "But we have a bigger problem. Dementors." I glanced at Hazel in dismay. From what we knew, unless we conjured a patronus, the four of us might pass out immediately.
"Okay that isn't good," mumbled Will.
"Not good?!" said Nico his voice trembling. "I have been to Tartarus once, and believe me when I say I do not want to go again." I stared at Nico. He looked terrified. Will took the dark-haired boys hand smiling sadly. Nico sighed and leaned into his boyfriend. "Sorry." he mumbled into Will's robes. The taller boy smiled.
"I'm with Nico." said Hazel looking downcast. "We're going to react really badly to them. It's inevitable."
"What do you mean you'll react really badly?" I looked over my shoulder to find myself face-to-face with a suspicious Selena. "Uh..."
"Let's just say we've had bad experiences." said Nico coldly. Will snorted. "Understatement of the century." I smiled sadly. As much I wanted to be the optimist, they were right. Unless we used a Patronus, we didn't stand a chance.
"What language was that?" asked Selena. "Greek." I said calmly playing with a piece of my hair. We had to look our for that girl. Out of all the people on this train, she had the best chance of blowing our cover. Luckily she picked up on the fact we weren't in the mood to answer questions, and left us alone. Will sighed.
"I say we go for it. We don't really have another choice."
"We could use a Patronus?" said Hazel semi-hopefully.
"Nope. The headmaster's a Legilimence, remember? It'll blow our cover." We fell silent at that.
"Well." I said dully. "Time to go to Hogwarts."
The four of us stepped out onto the platform, following the people we met on the train. I shivered and immediately pulled my cloak tighter around my shoulders. Freezing rain was pelting down, each drop a bullet on my clammy skin. Within seconds I was soaked. Sure enough, Dementors were flanking the sides of the platform. Their cloak-like figures radiated despair, making the students closest to them flinch. I watched as a third-year fell to the ground, a dementor bowed above her. Her friend shrieked, and tugged her away, and the two ran to the carriages.
As we walked down the dirt path toward the carriages, Hazel was shaking. I wrapped my arm around her, which gained a small smile from the dark haired girl. Students were running through the rain, but the four of us followed at a steady pace. Dementors couldn't see. As long as we kept our distance...We passed a Dementor, pushing through students to try disguise ourselves.
But we failed.
As soon as we came within 10 feet of one, the hooded creature glided toward Hazel and I, and the cold became overwhelming. I penetrated my skin, and forced me to my knees.
White fog clouded my vision, flushing everything else from view. I felt something shift inside me, like my conscious was being torn from my body. Collapsing onto the muddy pathway, I heard the Dementor draw in a rattling breath, and I faintly heard Nico and Will fall behind me. Hazel dry sobs echoed in my ears as it got colder and colder. More dementors.
I heard a voice calling out to me, my fathers, crying for me to help him as Enceledus cackled in the background. I could make out Percy and Annabeth's cries as giants held them in their fists. I heard noises from the House of Hades, but the armies were falling. Frank and Reyna were overrun with monsters, yelling out to me to help them. My eyes prickled with hot tears as I heard Gaia's laugh as she burst into flames, taking a screaming Leo with her. I was bombarded by my worst memories. The screams of my friends and the victory of my enemies. The swirled around and around in my head until I couldn't make out anything else.
The white fog was inside me, taking over my soul like some kind of spirit, and honestly? It was a relief when I finally passed out.
