HEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am SO sorry about how long that took. And how long it's taking to get to Hogwarts. I just don't like rushing things very much. I know it must be annoying. But... We're at twenty five! Yay! I don't know whether to be happy, or hit myself. This is taking way too long.

I'm super happy  because in ballet a couple days ago, I managed to do a double pirouette! My teacher didn't see though, because it was our student-teachers class. I'm pretty sure it was a fluke, but I'm still super happy about it!!!!!!

Also, thanks for 1.8k reads!!!! I didn't even notice until now, and I'm super shocked! Like what???? How???? Why???? So thanks a bunch for that, and hope you like the chapter!!! Anyway...

I DON'T OWN HARRY POTTER OR HEROES OF OLYMPUS!!!!!!!

Rick and J.K do. And I'm sure you knew that. ON WITH LE STORY!!!!!!!

Hazel's POV

"Wait... that was a test?" Seriously? I looked over at Nico and the others, who were all staring at the gods. "Uh, yeah!" said Apollo. He turned and winked at me. "Hazel gets it, don't ya girl?" I sighed and nodded. "Kind of obvious guys. They were trying to see how long it would take for us to notice something was off, and fix it. Basically, a magic detection test." I saw Hecate flash me a smile.

"Yes. It was a magic detection test. And even though you took a while, you did quite well. But not well enough." She walked toward Nico and gave him a long wooden box. She did the same for Piper, Will and I. I looked down at the object with interest.

It was made of a dark wood, probably oak, and it's varnish smelled like nail polish. I ran my fingers over the carving in the middle, the same symbol on our common room door. Annabeth had called it a bonding symbol. A elongated hexagon, with a diamond in each corner. I frowned. We still hadn't learnt what that meant yet. I turned it over, and saw an elaborate carving of a pomegranate tree on the back. Probably Persephone's.

"These are your wands. You will be trained on how to use them later on, the same time you'll learn about the wizarding world. You must be prepared for what you see. My little race isn't at it's most peaceful at the moment." I looked up at my mentor, to see her face looking thoroughly downcast. Whatever was going on at this school must be pretty bad.

"Apollo will be training on how to use your bonding power now." I looked up at the god of music, who was beaming at us, and bouncing up and down on the balls of his feet. This should be interesting.

Piper's POV

"So we're finally gonna learn about this power, eh?" I looked over at Nico, who was sitting next to Will on the couch next to us. I nodded. We were now in the music room, and Apollo was surveying us quietly.

"Okay, so each of you are going to have to pick an instrument to major in. I would usually suggest something you've already learnt, but Hazel tells me that it has to be something you fell a connection with?" I looked over at the dark-skinned girl, who nodded. "So, take a look around, and tell me when you find something, okay? Don't worry about learning it in a week, I can make that happen." He said smiling softly. Nico and Hazel stood up almost instantly, and Hazel beckoned me to join her.

We walked around the large room. It had white marble walls, and curved upward into a dome. We stepped up onto a golden platform, which took up half the room. We walked past a large piano, vibraphone, keyboard, and xylophone in silence. A silence, which Hazel decided to break.

"So, what do you think?" I looked at her in confusion. "What do you mean?" She chuckled. "All this," she waved her hand around the room. "Wizards, musical influence, a school... where do you think this is going?" I knew from her expression that she was testing me, and for the first time in a while, I shied away from her gaze. "I'm not sure." I mumbled, brushing my hands over a guitar. "It seems kinda bizarre in my opinion." A gleeful voice rang out through the room. "Perfect Nico!"

I turned toward the piano to see Nico staring at a piano. The once white paint was slowly turning black and gold, spreading from his fingertips the same way our duvets changed color in the Hades cabin. Cute. I watched Hazel walk up to a cello in the corner, and tentatively touched one of the metallic strings. Immediately, a soft violet spread from her fingertips, coating the instrument. "Yes!" said the girl happily. She walked over to her brother who was sitting in front of the piano, and the two immediately struck up a conversation. I sighed. Just me and Will now.

Suddenly, a certain instrument caught my eye. I walked across the marble floor, weaving between instruments. I stopped and looked down at a white acoustic guitar. I had only played the guitar once, at my grandfathers when I was eight. We'd mainly just learned old Cherokee songs, but it was still one of my favorite memories. I grabbed the strap, and slung it over my head. I smiled as a red color slowly spread over the wood, and started toward Hazel and Nico.

Once I got there, I saw that Will had picked up a guitar too. He's was a regular one though. "Hey Pipes!" he said waving toward me. I just rolled my eyes.

"So, Nico. Not much of a surprise really, neither you Will. But Hazel?" I looked at her jokingly. "Why a cello?" She smiled back at me. "I dunno. It just felt right." I knew what she meant.

A few minutes later we were back in our common room. I was relieved. If I'm being honest, for a music room, the silence in that place had been suffocating. "Since you've all picked an instrument, now you'll be learning how to use your bonding power. Hecate needs you guys for two hours a day so she can tell you more about her pet world, but I get you for a while!" The god of music declared happily. "So, let's get cracking!"
