HEY!!!!!!!!!!

So.... I is happy.... is you happy? I hope you're happy. It's sad that in the infinite number of people in the world, so few are truly happy.... don't you think?

Anyway, leaving my weird thoughts.......

I DO NOT OWN HEROES OF OLYMPUS OR HEROES OF OLYMPUS!!!!!!!!

Ya'll know who does. The queen of magic (no, not Hecate) and the... guy who made mythology readable for 3rd graders???? What rank would that be in the mythology world?

Anyway......... geez I say anyway a lot don't I. *Cue not so awkward silence* Um......

ON WITH THE STORY BECAUSE I TRIED ITALIAN ONE TIME AND TBH IT WASN'T MUCH DIFFERENT THAT WHEN I USE ENGLISH AND I'm rambling aren't I. Gods. Also, you can never have to much Klance.😊

.............................

Nico's POV

Music. Wow. Our bonding power was music. Which totally made sense.... never mind it didn't. WHAT THE ACTUAL FU-

"-CK?" I felt a sharp pain in the middle of my back. I turned around to see Hazel looking at me sternly. "Language." she said promptly sitting down on one of the couches. I laughed. That's what mama would have done... and she was on the other side of the world in the '30's!

I sat down smiling. Okay, so having music as a power didn't make sense, but then again most things the gods do make no sense until like, a decade later.

Apollo looked downcast. "Do you not like it?" he said pouting slightly. He had Will's pout.

We were in the music room of the Underworld, yes the Underworld had a music room, and the gods were trying, and failing, to teach us about our bonding power.

Persephone, who was behind Apollo just rolled her eyes. "For goodness sake." she said standing up and walking toward Apollo. "Take a seat." she said calmly. Then she proceeded to literally push Apollo over into the couch behind him. I exchanged grins with Will. Okay, so the gods made no sense, but they were still funny.

"Okay, so basically, we decided your bonding power would be musical influence, not just music." I looked over to Piper, and saw she was just as confused as I was. "Musical influence." said Persephone looking at us expectantly. She sighed. "Demigods." she mumbled.

"Here's an idea," said Will sounding annoyed. "How about you actually explain what it is instead of blaming us for your clear incapability to teach?" Persephone wrinkled her nose. "What's gotten into you? Usually your the nice one out of you and your boyfriend."

"Hey!" I said sitting up. I turned to Will. "But seriously. What has gotten into you?" Will just groaned and buried his head in my shoulder mumbling about dramatic gods. Oh. That explains it.

"As I was saying," began Persephone. "Musical influence is when one uses music to change reality." Okay that sounded cool. Will lifted his head and looked at Persephone curiously. God he was so cute! And of course, he caught me looking. He smiled. I blushed. "Hey! Lovebirds!" I turned toward the noise and saw a grinning Piper. "We all appreciate your soulmate-ness, but if you need to get married to pay attention, just get it over and done with."

"Well we're already half-way there." I said smirking and flashing her my ring. Piper just stuck out her tongue.

"Hello!" Persephone called looking annoyed. "Do you want information or not?" That shut us up.

"So basically, if you learn how to channel your emotions or intention into your music, you could influence other people to feel the same way. Not very publicized, but extremely effective." She finished sitting down. "So kind of like Orpheus?" I offered. She nodded. "Cool." said Will leaning back. "But when are we going to learn how to use it?"

"Now." said a new voice, echoing through the room. Our heads turned to the piano, where Hecate had appeared out of nowhere. "What?" said Apollo sounding shocked. "It takes weeks to perfect the technique, not to mention the fact that I was not told that I would have to teach them now!" He protested. "This was not our agreement Hecate!"

She just looked at Apollo with distaste. "As we speak, Voldemort is strengthening security for the new year. All of the teachers are on edge and term begins in a week. You need to teach them by then." She said simply, but there was an undertone of challenge to her voice. "But you're the goddess of magic!" he whined. "You're the one who gave these wizards there magic, surely you can undo their spells!" Wizards?

"It's not that simple! These children have to enter Hogwarts on September the first. We might not stand a chance otherwise." She said midnight eyes glinting dangerously. Apollo looked like was about to burst. "Uh, my lady?" Hazel stood up tentatively. "Do you think it is possible for us to master the skill in such a short amount of time?" That's Hazel. She always knew how to stop disaster.

Hecate eyes softened as she looked at her apprentice. "Not master no, but you can definitely  learn the basics. Once your inside Hogwarts we'll be able to contact you, but only by Iris message. All other methods of communication you use will be tracked. There is a place inside Hogwarts where you'll be able to practice, but you'd have to with the utmost caution." Hazel nodded silently and sat down. Apollo sighed. "I can teach them the basics, but don't expect them to be good at it." Hecate nodded.

"I dunno," said Piper in a mock-thoughtful voice. "I'd say Nico's pretty good at it already." She said smirking at me. I shot her a glare. We'd become pretty good friends, but she always took any chance she could to annoy me. Stupid daughter of Aphrodite.

"Well, your pretty good at singing if anything Percy said was true. Sounds like musical influence to me." I replied. She narrowed her eyes.

"What Nico said is right," said Hazel thoughtfully. "What Piper did to the Athenians does sound a lot like musical influence." Will nodded. "What she did was a type of musical influence." said Hecate. "She was using her charmspeak and incorporating it into her singing. Musical influence is kind of like that, but you'll be using instruments more than your voice."

"Wait a minute," I said a bit alarmed. "We have to sing?" Hecate sighed. "Yes, you have to sing." I groaned and fell back onto the couch. "Whyyyyyyyyyyyy???" said Will doing the same.

"Hey!" said Hazel. "The both of you are really good at singing!" Piper looked at her confused. "Since when can Nico sing? I know about Will, healing magic and all, but Nico?" Her eyebrows furrowed as she looked at me. I did actually sing... Hazel found out because she'd had a nightmare on the Argo. I wasn't a very emotional person, but I am not going to watch while my only sister tears herself apart.

"Ah, Italians." said Apollo dreamily. "I blessed your lot a while ago. Such amazing talent!" His eyes lit up. "You should have heard the symphonies they played, even before I blessed them. Brilliant!"

"Yeah. Mama took me too one when I was little." I said conversationally. The others stared at me with wide eyes. Wait a minute... did I just? Oh shit. "I just told them didn't I." I said bluntly. The nodded.

"Your memories are coming back!" said Apollo standing up and looking horrified. I winced. "Yes?" Apollo and Persephone looked at me with shocked eyes. "What?" I said raising my hands defensively. They were over-reacting. This definitely couldn't have been the first time this happened, could it?
