HEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I changed all the parts to chapters just cause it's a much nicer word, ya know? I felt sooo much better after doing it... even though 1000 words can hardly be counted as a chapter 😝.

Also, if you have any good books you're reading at the moment, can you maybe recommend them to me? I've hit a blank. I've been reading the same one-shots for the past.... week? I dunno. Also, random fact, Vietnamese is the only V language on google translate. So to any Vietnamese speaking people, YOU'RE SUPER RARE!!! Anyway..

Amser stori! (This is Welsh BTW)

Nico's POV

"I still can't used to the fact the common room is in the dungeon! Like I get that Slytherin are supposed to be the dark edgy ones, but really? That doesn't seem sanitary to me." I rolled my eyes.

"Relax Will. I'm sure they're perfectly dry." I said smiling at his ranting. He looked at me annoyed. "It's not just whether or not it's dry! What if it's cold? Or something gets in? And it's supposed to be under the lake right? Have they even thought about the possibility that the whole structure could collapse!" I stifled a giggle.
"They're wizards remember? They probably have it covered."

We turned the corner and walked toward a portrait of a man wearing black robes. He was tall, or at least his picture was, and had a long pale imposing face. He looked down at us like we were rats, and pursed his lip. "New students?" he asked disapprovingly. "Hmm. I don't see why all you home-schooled half-bloods had to come here you know. They had to do a lot of work on increasing the dorms, and now the racket is unbearable! I don't know how I'm going to survive the whole year!" I sighed.
"Will he ever shut up?" asked Will quietly. I shrugged.
"-but I suppose you'd want to go in, wouldn't you." he said peering down at us. I nodded bored, while Will replied with a yeah.
"Very well, password?"
"Hungarian Horntail."

The portrait swung open to a doorway that lead to a dark room with a large fireplace. Will looked at me.

"Well, ladies first." I punched him, and then stepped through the doorway.

The Slytherin common room was... pretty cool actually. The walls were made of dark grey stone, in which elaborate carvings of hypnotizing patterns were engraved. There were three stone walls to the room, both of which had a large fireplace set in the middle. There were leather couches and armchairs scattered across the room, and rugs were set before each cluster of chairs. Low tables were spread everywhere, and students were milling around in the early morning. But the coolest thing by far was the glass wall.

The fourth wall of the common room was made of glass, and through it students had a clear view of the lake. Weak fall sunlight filtered through the lake, making it look green and mysterious. I could only see a small part of the lake, but it was teeming with life. Silvery schools of fish darted past, followed by a weird looking creature, which I'm pretty sure was called a Grindylow. I walked up to it, followed by Will, and placed my hand on the glass. Despite the temperature of the room, the glass was a bitter cold, but it was bearable.

I stared into the depths of the lake captivated. AND THEN SUDDENLY A FREAKING TENTACLE WAS IN MY FACE!!!!
"AH!" I stumbled back, crashing into Will, and knocking both of us to the ground. I stared at the glass in horror, and watched as the red tentacle slowly pulled itself away from the glass with a sickening squelch.

"NICO! HEY NEEKS! NICOOOO!!!!!!" I was then attacked by a flurry of green robes and black hair. Regardless to say I was thoroughly freaked out by then. "Uh-h um hi?" I said sounding slightly hysterical. The person let out a laugh, and pulled away grinning. I deflated.

"Divani!" I groaned rubbing my head. "Did you really have to do that?" She smiled. "Yup!" she said popping the P. Someone came up behind her.
"Let the poor guy breath D." said Cayden chuckling. "Also, don't forget Solace." Will stood up smiling, (as usual) and helped me up.

"Thanks." I mumbled leaning on the blond boys shoulder. Divani gasped. We both looked at her.
"OH MY GOD THE HEIGHT DIFFERENCE IS ADORABLE!" she gushed running around us and waving her arms around frantically. I looked at Cayden confused.
"Is she okay?" I asked him grinning. He shook his head and mouthed a no. Will laughed and turned to the excited girl.

"You should have seen us last year. Neeks was hardly up to my shoulder!" Divani cooed. I groaned.
"Really Will? Did you have to point that out? I'm only half-way up your face anyway." I grumbled. He just grinned and bounced on the balls of his feet. Then he turned to Cayden.
"Aren't you in Hufflepuff?" he asked tilting his head slightly. The brown-haired boy nodded, and gestured at his collar, which was a cannery yellow. "Like I said. I don't exactly like our commonroom. Anyway, we should be heading to breakfast. Silena's in Ravenclaw by the way."

The two of them lead us through the maze that is Hogwarts, as we took in the sights. It was very spacious, as it was still early and there were only a few students in the hallway. We arrived at the grand entrance to the Great Hall, and saw Piper, Hazel and Silena dressed in blue, waiting for us at the doorway. Hazel grinned when she saw us, and ran up and gave me a hug. I chuckled.

"Hey Haze." I said smiling at the shorter girl. "Hey! You guys really have to see the Ravenclaw common room!" she said with wide eyes and an even wider smile. "It's so big! And it has a galaxy painted on the ceiling, and there are bookshelves on every level- there are levels by the way- and it has-" She continued her rant until we were standing in the middle of the great hall. Smells of coffee and toast filled the large room, and students were chattering quietly. Sunlight filtered through the large windows, the frames casting shadows across the tables. We bade the others a silent goodbye as we made our way to the Slytherin table, along with Cayden.

"Are you allowed to sit here?" asked Will looking at Cayden worried. "I mean, since you-know-who's in charge, the rules might be a lot stricter." Divani frowned. "Yeah... he's right. Maybe it is better for you to sit with the other Hufflepuffs." she said sadly. He just smiled. "Relax. I'm staying here for a while, but when the crowd gets thicker I'll move, 'kay?" He then proceeded to sit down on one of the benches and help himself to a piece of toast. As we sat down, Divani turned to us and smiled.

"So, when did you start dating?" she said smiling cheekily. I felt my face heat up, and immediately hid my face in my robes.
"Dee!" said Cayden in a disapproving tone. "That's not the most subtle way to but it!" he was smiling too though.
"What? You can't tell me they aren't cute." she said defiantly. After by blush had retreated I picked up a apple piece and started to eat it. Will frowned.
"You have to eat more than that!" I rolled my eyes.
''I don't have to, but I will." I said slowly. I wasn't lying, but Will grabbed my plate and started piling food onto it. "Will!" I whined as he placed it in front of me.
"You have to eat all of it." he said firmly, but he was smiling. My eyes widened.
"Don't say-"
"Doctors orders."
-it." I sighed, and picked up some toast and leaned onto his shoulder.

"Aw." stage whispered Divani, her hands in front of her face and her eyes sparkling. Will blushed and grinned, but I just looked at her.
"What?" said Cayden smiling. "You two are adorable you know." he stood up and stretched, then looked at the doors of the great hall.

"The rest of the school are arriving now. I gotta go. Bye!" He then ran across the hall to his table, and sat down next to a dark-skinned boy. I looked back at Divani, who was talking to the girl next to her.

"Oh and by the way." she said leaning over the table at us. "If you guys want to keep your relationship secret, try not to be so cute in class, 'kay?" she smiled and went back to her conversation. I turned to Will.

"So what do you think?" I asked looking around at the hall. Will just took my hand and leaned into me. "I think you look really cute in wizard robes." I blushed.
