"Jeremiah, please!" Ecco begged grabbing at her lover and boss's arm. Jeremiah Valeska shook her off, "Ecco, enough." Jeremiah fixed his suit and slicked back his hair. Ecco narrowed her eyes, "Jeremiah-" Jeremiah Valeska whipped around. "Enough, Ecco!" He snarled. Ecco jumped back in shock. He never snapped at her like that. Ecco looked down, "Of course, Mr. Valeska." She murmured coldly. Jeremiah sighed turning around, a smile on his face, his fingers danced to tilt her chin upwards to meet his gaze. "Ecco," he purred, "my sweet, Ecco. I promise you, I will be perfectly fine. Now you are going to stay here. Whether you like it or not. Understood?" Ecco glared at him with narrowed eyes. "I don't like this, Jeremiah." She warned. "I don't trust Ra's. He's going to double cross you! Let me go with you! Let me protect you!" Jeremiah shook his head and backed her into a corner, "Oh Ecco, my sweet, darling Ecco..." he gently brushed her hair behind her ear with his forefinger as he cooed over her, "I'll be fine." He murmured, before he pushed her backwards into her room. He slammed the door shut and locked it via the keypad outside it. Jeremiah could hear Ecco banging her fists upon the door and screaming at him in anger. "Jeremiah!" She screamed, "Let me out! Please! Let me help you!" Jeremiah sighed, "Ecco- it's alright," he soothed, "I promise I'll be back. I just need you to stay safe here." And with that, he turned around and made his way towards the exit. With each step farther, the lights behind him turned off, setting the maze and it's living quarters into lockdown. Jeremiah reached the front and the moment he stepped out and closed the hatch, he typed the password on the keypad.

Jeremiah took one last look at the bunker before he left the premises. Time to put on a show.

Ecco rammed her body against the bedroom door repeatedly. "Jeremiah!" She yelled, "Please!" Her efforts ceased suddenly as the lights in the bunker powered off and the emergency lights flickered on. The television in the corner of the room lit up with static. Ecco backed away and sat down on her bed, eyes on the television. Jeremiah had put the bunker on lockdown. Ecco watched the static, unmoving from her position on the bed. After hours of waiting, the screen finally changed. Her jaw dropped as the bridges to the mainland fell before her very eyes. Jeremiah, what have you done?

Ecco lay quietly in her room, tears streaming down her face. She knew how wrong this was. Jeremiah had lost it. He'd lost himself when he had been sprayed with the insanity gas. Ecco stifled a small sob. If only... If only she hadn't taken the day off after being kind controlled. If only... The lights flickered on and Ecco glanced upwards, before she curled up upon her bed. She sat up suddenly as she heard the lockdown cancel. "Lockdown cancelled. Welcome back, Mr. Wilde." Ecco heard the door to the bunker's living quarters open and the sound of grunting.
"Ecco!"
Ecco was on her feet instantly and made her way to the door, "Jeremiah?" She put her hand on the door, panicking briefly as she realized it was still locked. She bashed her fists against the door, "Jeremiah, what's wrong?! Jeremiah are you okay?" Jeremiah grunted as he made his way to the door, typing in the lock override, allowing the door to open. Ecco stumbled through before regaining her composure. When she saw his wounded body she set to work instantly. She tsked and sat him down on the chair before her, "Honestly, Jeremiah- you keep putting yourself in danger. When will you learn your actions have consequences? And most times they cause you to get hurt!"
"Ecco, I'm fine!" Jeremiah laughed, Ecco frowned folding her arms across her chest. "Jeremiah, you need stitches! Your hurt do you not realize that?!" Her heart broke at her own words. Jeremiah rolled his eyes and he took her hand in his. "Listen to me," Ecco averted his gaze, listening with her ears but not her eyes. "Ecco..." Ecco looked up at Jeremiah, he was smiling that sweet smile. The smile he only gave her. "I'm fine. I'll recover. You know that." Ecco shook her head, "I don't care what that insanity gas's side effects are, Jeremiah. You still need stitches. Now stop being a baby and let me help you." Jeremiah had rolled his eyes and allowed her to stitch him up, but not before he made an awful attempt to seduce her. He had cast her a charming smile and leaned forward, his fingertips grazing along the underside of her chin. "Ecco," he purred, "Have I ever told you how- simply adorable and sweet you are?" Ecco had laughed at him, fondly kissing him before she began the stitching. "Jeremiah Valeska- I love you, but your acting like a child. Please just sit still so I don't have to restrain you." Jeremiah had succumbed to her and chuckled under his breath as she stitched him up, "I wouldn't mind being restrained..."
