I didn't know whether to be happy or not when we followed Breeze on a path. Our appearances had definitely changed from going through the portal. Who knew portals had dress codes.

I looked down at my clothing, instead of wearing my glass infested orange shirt, I wore a cotton green shirt that had strange words imprinted on it. My fingers traveled through my hair as I checked to see if I had anything new was implanted in it. Zilch. However, my hair was less curly than usual.

Unfortunately, not all of us were happy with out new makeover. Hearth kept messing up his hair to try to make it look like what it looked like before. However, it just kept getting back to the new version, combed, neat, but letting some of the hair fall on the left side of his face. Instead of wearing his two sizes too big panda shirt, he wore an orange T-shirt that was one size too big for him, but that didn't bother him.

He noticed me staring and gave me a funny look. That was my cue to look away.

I couldn't look at him the same after what happened at the border. I shuddered as the memories rolled back to me. His eyes were rolled up to the inside of his head, showing off the whites of them. He had looked as pale as a skeleton with smoke drifting from his mother as he was uttering words that made no sense. It nearly gave me a heart attack the when I saw that happen to him.

Now we were following this girl and acting like this was totally normal. Which reminded me of my question, "Where are you taking us?"

Breeze turned towards us, still walking, "A safe place." She simply said, eyeing Hearth. Well that definitely cleared things up.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I bet when you hear the word "haven" you don't usually imagine what I saw. Once we walked into a clearing I got a clear sight of what Breeze described of the words "safe place."
There stood a villa and little houses in an allignment of circles surrounding a fountain that each held different types of flags. Kids that filled the living spaces looked around the age of six to eighteen. My eyes drifted over to the middle of what was connecting the many round communities.
A fire bloomed in the middle and lots of benches and tables surrounded it. Little shops were lining the outskirts of the huge center.
I hadn't noticed that my group have moved on while I was taking it all of it in. I hastily made my way back, acting as if I totally hadn't been left behind.
When we approached closer to the villa, some preteens noticed us, beginning to stare and gawk at us. I felt uncomfortable so I decided to stare at the ground as we continued to walk. The mosson on the stones suddenly began to go feral as I thought to myself.
We had walked straight through (besides going a little sideways to avoid the bonfire) main area of eating and that's when I first noticed that we were headed towards a large structure.
Its walls gleamed white as the sunlight hit it. It looked so old but had a bit of some modern touches. Pebbles lined the path to the entrance as we entered. As soon as we entered my whole body shuddered from the temperature drop. I clenched my jaw as the freezing air frayed my skin.
"Jiminy Christmas! What is the house for? Is it for letting the animals of Anshi-Gyu roam free?" I asked clasping my hands together
"Of course not," Breeze said calmly, her voice as cold as the air. "This is the House of The Lumihad."
"Ooh, fancy name." Hearth snorted, "But seriously, couldn't you guys have created a little bit more catchy name?"
Breeze spun around, her eyes narrowing at us. "Both of you, I will give you a piece of advice. Pipe down or you might find a dagger up your neck."
Silence filled the freezing air as we both shut our mouths.
"I must warn you...The Lumihas do not get humor or attitude. And they might take your suggestions quite...Literal. So, take my advice and behave yourselves."
We both nodded like little obedient dogs.
She sighed and gestured us to follow her, and we did. I took in the artwork on the walls.
"They're beautiful.." I whispered softly. They truly were. Whoever created this had such a precise detail on the the faces and such.
I heard some footsteps and I immediately looked over to where the source of the footsteps came from.
There stood a man with pale skin with frost forming on his shoulders. At first glance, you would pass this "man" for a normal being, however, if you took a closer look, this "man" was definitely not normal.
Instead of having one set of arms, he had three sets which one of them were positioned in a praying posture. Another holding a feather. A strange mark that looked like a ø was imprinted on his forehead. His chest was bare and so was his head, which made him resemble a monk.
Abruptly, he lifted up his head, opening his eyes. His eyes were milky white with no irises.
"Well, well...Breeze, didn't we tell you not to be not late this time?" A cold smile spread across his face. "And I sense that you brought visitors." He said 'visitors' like it was some kind of disease.
Breeze looked like she was resisting the urge to take back to the guy. "Sorry Nyotsua, but when you are fighting one of your fomrer comrades, it can delay."
"Yes... Of course it would delay you," Nyotsua smirked and one of his six hands opened the door, "I suppose you need to see them."
She nodded in response and walked in the room that was filled with people in it. We followed Breeze in, not wanting to be stuck with the guy.
Once I stepped in, I knew that I was screwed for sure.
