 The wolf and the sky

Are more related than you think

You cannot deny

That they are always in sync

The stars are their ancestors

From long, long ago

They go to extensive measures

And boy, does it show

The stars shine all night

The wolves howl their praise

For their ancestors are in sight

As long as the sun doesn't raise

The moon is their king

Unlike the alpha in the pack

He causes the wolves to sing

And watches over everyone's back

It doesn't matter who is what

The moon doesn't judge

Not even a common mutt

Will dare hold a grudge

For the celestial blood runs through them all

And nothing can break

The old yet beautiful call

Their ancestors never fail to make

Each night they call to their children

Whilst watching from above

No matter what place the wolves are in

They hear their undeniable love

And the wolves stop and look up

Turning their heads to the sky

Even the youngest, smallest pup

Will look up and cry

For the celestial blood runs through them

Like a running river over stone

And nothing can ever come between 'em

And that beautiful, celestial throne
