The guest started to arrive and the main foyer became our stage. Leah and I greeted each arrival with an air of camp and pageantry. I took my cues from Leah who knew the guest list by heart.
"Timothy! I'm so glad you made it safely, darling its Timothy!"
"Timothy! You're here!"
I have no idea who you are
I shook Timothy's hand and pointed towards the bar and screening room.
"Have a drink, have two!"
"Meredith Allen! You look sensational! Honey, I have someone you need to meet."
I rushed over and gave Meredith a hug.
"Meredith is on the CW show, Las Vegas Life," Leah informed me
"Of course, yes I love that show!"
"Meredith, go find a seat, or get lost in the magical gardens outside!" Leah suggested
I looked at Meredith trying to sound serious, " We just want you to have a swell time kid."
Leah burst out laughing and pointed Meredith and her date behind us. Leah kissed my cheeks, and we continued to greet the new arrivals.
I noticed that everybody wore colors of blues and black. Our group of five stuck out in our golden ensembles. Carrie and Andrew stood like prom dates in front of the giant flat screen. Carrie in a gold princess dress, and Andrew in a gold suit. Instead of a shirt, Andrew wore a metal chainmail tank top, matching Leah and I. Julia fluttered between the backyard, the screening room, and the foyer, spinning like a top.
Members of our acting class showed up, along with a selection of Wild Child production crew and actors. A few actors from Hit List were invited, but only a couple of teens around Carrie's age. "This premiere is about Carrie." Leah reminded me. "The adult actors from Hit List will attend their own events, or watch from home."
At nine before the show started Daniel danced into the foyer, in black pants, black short sleeves button up, and a golden bow-tie.
"My golden gods look magnificent!" He complimented, making a show of each of us individually. And then pointing over to Carrie and Andrew in the screening room.
Julia curtsied, reverently.
I folded into a formal bow.
Leah strutted over and kissed him on the mouth, leaving gold on his lips.
Daniel beamed at the three of us, clasping his hands.
"You know how to throw a party," he said to Leah.
"It hasn't even started yet."
"Yeah, what party?" I asked, faking confusion.
Daniel laughed, and headed back to the screening room, "I don't want to lose my seat."
The lights dimmed a few times, signaling the start of the show.
"Banana," Julia whispered.

"Are we not going to watch the episode?" I asked, back in Leah's wing of the house.
