Dear diary,
My father recently passed and his funeral is this Wednesday with out him I am nothing, meaningless, dark, scared,alone,dull. Everyone in school knowns me as the girl who lost her father recently. I put everyone and everything on pause and stop talking to everyone. Hopefully I can get through today.
"Amy, Michael its time for breakfast," my mother says.
"Coming." We both say.
"Hey." Michael (my brother) says
"Hey."
"You ok?" He asked. Same questions every damn day.
"God, stop asking me that every morning. I'm fine. People die." I replied.
"Yea its funny because you always say that. " He spat.
"If you don't like the answer then maybe you should stop asking the same question!" I said with an attitude then continued going downstairs.
"Your not gonna fix you hair?" My mother says.
"Um yea I'm just gonna brush it." How rude of her.
'Honey your hair is curly you need to do more than brush it." B*tch.
"No I don't." I spat
"Um ok." She said rolling her eyes.
"Look I'm not hungry so I'm just gonna walk to school. " I said getting out of my seat.
"Let your brother drive you." Mom commands
"No thanks." I said before closing the door and heading to school.
"She is such a hand full." My mom says
"Yep she is." Michael says.
During school
"Oh my god Amy I'm so sorry for your lost." Melony( the hottest most popular girl on school)says to me.
"Um thanks. I am too." I never knew how to respond to that question.
"Well me and my minions want you to sit with us during lunch. It'll give you a good reputation." Did she call her own friends her minions?
"Sure." I said plainly. Then I saw Tanya and Zoey walk over to me.
"Omg did she just invite you to sit at her table!?!!" Tanya and Zoey asked
"Yup."
"And your not hype! Why!!?!!" Zoey asked
"Because their just people."
"Yea very popular people. Geeze where's your spunk and excitement?" Zoey says.
"My spunk and my excitement died along with my father." I stated
"I know what she needs. A man to comfort her." Tanya says
"What?" Tanya swears dick will solve everything.
"Well let's just say your man misses you and you know you miss him. And your father died like five days ago so get out there." Tanya explains
"Did you hear what you just said? Days yes my father died six days ago but give me time to mourn in peace so yes my spunk is gonna but luckily its on vacation so yall are gonna have wait until the old me comes back but she might not come back."
"Hey I need to talk to Amy alone." Luis says. And they leave.
"Are you ok?"
"I'm fine. I'm as good as I can be right now."
