Two weeks later ...5 months pregnant
I wake up with a Sharp pain in my stomach and I scream in pain (but not a death scream a scream loud enough to wake Luis up.) He jumps up saying what, happened are you ok. You need something?
"I don't know I just felt Sharp pain like a knife stabbing me deep in my stomach." I tell him.
"Well your not having the baby right?" Luis says in panic.
"I dont know, if this is what childbirth feels like than I hate it." I said then I felt it again but this time it was worst so I screamed louder. Then my mother comes through the door.
"What the hell is going on at 3:00 in the damn morning?" She says as she enters my room. I guess she's not a morning person.
"I don't know I keep feeling theses sharp pains and they worsen each time." I tell her in a panicky voice tone. Then Michael comes in the room.
"Well honey, you can't be in labor your only 5 months. But let's get you to the hospital because anything could be happening." She says. Then she leaves my room wakes my grandma up and then we all go un her car.
In the hospital.
I was in the emergency room. Laying on the bed and the pain kept coming.
"Mom would if"- "Dont think that way, the baby is fine when they come back with the test that's what they will tell you." My mom days as she cuts me off.
"But mom I have to think that way I have to prepare myself for the worst."I said then I saw Luis in the corner of the room crying silently. "Luis come here." I said. Then he came up to me.
"What do you need, a pillow, something to drink, something to eat. What is it?" Luis says.
"Luis I need you." I said then he hugs me. Then a doctor comes in.
"Um, you have high blood pressure and stress levels but low blood sugar. And this could hurt the baby. We're gonna have to keep you here for observation.
"Then why did I feel those sharp pains?" I asked.
"We don't know yet, we think it was because the baby was moving a lot so it might've been pushing down to your bladder." The doctor tells me.
"So how long will she have to stay?" Mom asked.
"Um for at least 2 week. We gave her some fluids that would help with the pains in her stomach" The doctor replies. Then she walks out the room. My mom turns on the tv to "My wife and kids" tv show. I put my ear buds in my ear and went to sleep.
10:00 AM
I wake up with Luis curled up next to me. Michael and mom are gone and then the doctor comes in the room.
"How we doing? Your mom went home and your brother went to school. But how's everything with you?" The nurse asked.
"I'm starving and I have to pee." I tell her.
"Ok well go ahead to the bathroom you can take the monitors off you and I will get you your food." The nurse said. She was too happy for it to be morning. I started to get up to go to the bathroom the Luis woke up.
"Where you going?" He asked.
"To the bathroom. Don't worry I'll be ok in the bathroom." I said then I kissed him on the cheek and went to the bathroom.
I came out the bathroom and he was sitting up watching tv. I layed beside him on the bed then he started kissing me.
"Baby, we didn't even brush our teeth!"I said surprisingly.
"I dont care." He says then he sniffs my breath." You breath don't stink, mine don't stink so who cares? I wasn't even interested in the show anyway" He says. Then we continue to make out. Then I heard knocking on the door. I turned around and it was the nurse.
"I didn't mean to interrupt but your doctor told me to give you these prenatal vitamins." The doctor says.
"Oh yea thanks and um I'm sorry about the kissing. Well not the kissing just the being caught" I said.
"Oh no don't be, I know what its like to be pregnant, horny 24/7. At least that's how it was for me." The nurse says and it made me laugh.
"Ok, well tmi but thanks I guess." I said awkwardly.
"No problem just if you decide you wanna have sex here and now. Do it in the bathroom." She says then she walks out. Then my aunt carol comes in.
"Oh my god I thought you were dead when they told me you were in the hospital. Oo. Hi Luis!" Aunt carol says.
"Hi Mrs.Carol." Luis says in an uncomfortable way.
"So how are you?" I asked.
"I'm great, I found me the perfect man. It's great. He is sexy, maybe more sexier then Luis." Aunt Carol says.
"I totally doubt it but ok." I said.
"So, I here your pregnant!" She says.
"Yep." I said as I nodded.
"So you did the dirty and got pregos." Aunt carol says with a smirk.
"Yep." I said then Brian came through the door. "Brian?!" I shouted
"How are you I heard you were un the hospital." He says.
"I'm ok now but what are you doing here?" I asked.
"I came to check up on you." Brian says then I just smile. Then mom and grams walk in.
"Hey how you feeling?" Mom says.
"I'm ok. But the baby's being pretty active today. Shes been kicking a lot." I said. Then Luis and Brian both at the same time put their hands on my stomach to feel the baby kicking. I just look down at both of their hands. And aunt carol looks at me then mom. So I say, "father first." Then Brian took his hand off slowly and I could feel his feelings get hurt. Then I felt the pain in my stomach again. But I didn't scream I just said "Ouch!" I didn't wanna attract more attention.
"What happened?" Luis asked.
"I can feel the pains again." I said. Then Luis went out to call the nurse. They both came rushing in. Then the doctor started to feel my stomach and massage it and the pains went away.
"She will be able to leave tomorrow but just make sure she gets massaged every night." The nurse said.
"Yea ok." Mom says. Then Luis left because he had to go home and grandma and mom left so it was just me and Brian.
"Can I feel your stomach now?" Brian says.
"Oh yea sure." I said then he lays his hand on my stomach and starts rubbing all around it and he smiles. Then I smiled back. Then he leaned in and kissed me.
"I'm so sorry I don't know what has gotten into me.!" Brian exclaims.
"Oh, um. It's ok. I guess. I kissed you back so." I said. Then he kissed me again and he rubs my stomach. Then I stop him.
"This was very interesting but I'm with Luis now." I said. Then I could feel him get hurt again. Then I saw Luis.
"I just forgot me jacket." He says. Then he grabs his jacket. He turns around and punches him right in the face.
"Oh my god!" I scream. Then a while fight happened. It was crazy, stuff started falling, things started breaking and yelling was happening then nurse and doctors came in and tried to break up the fight. It looked like Brian was winning. The Luis started winning the Brian won and fight git broken up.
"She was mine first!" Luis yelled.
"Oh really well guess what we're in love too. I'm not just some guy that she's having a fling with we are in love! And you need to make up your mind about her! One day your here and the next your not! Well she's not gonna be there all the time! So make up your dumb ass mind! She may have been yours first but I guaranty that I'll be the one at the end of the aisle!" Brian says. Then Luis just walks out. And he forgot his jacket.
