In Your Dreams

Chapter 1

A/N: Just saying, in this story, I'm going to make both Enoch and Emily physically 15 years old and Horace physically 16!

I thought I was normal, I mean I looked very normal, I have silky blonde hair which looks quite ratty right now and sparkling almond shaped green eyes, which is looking quite dim right now, my skin paler that before, almost blue even, from the cold.

Three days, it had been three days since my old loop in 1914, France was raided by wights, the second loop that I was in. I remember what happened in my old loop, everyone was killed by hollow, even our ymbryne, Miss Sparrow was captured. Only me and my twin brother, Enoch, was still alive, the Hollow was catching up to us. So together we decided to split up, so that's what we did. I didn't look back and I ran as fast as my legs would allow me to, that is, until I tripped and fell, knocking myself into unconsciousness. 

A few days later I woke up to find myself in Miss Robin's loop, but it would be greedy to hope for the same miracle to happen again, but it did. I will be going to Miss Peregrine's loop in 1940, Cairnholm. So their loop is quite new since the present year in 1942. 

Together me and Miss Peregrine stood right outside the loop entrance, "Are you ready?" She asked,

I nodded, "Of course,"

"So first things first," Miss Peregrine said, "Get the dirt of yourself first, I told Emma to draw you a hot bath,"

So I washed myself and made sure that all the dirt is washed off, then changed into a clean white dress which Emma left for me before she left. 

"Miss Emilia," Miss Peregrine said as I re-entered the room, "The next thing you need to do is to choose your new roommate,"

"Roommate?"

"Oh, yes, the person that you'll be sharing your room with. Your choices are Fiona Fraunfield, Enoch O'Conner, E-"

"Wait!" I said, "Enoch O'Conner?"

"Yes, but I don't really suggest-"

"Blond hair, grumpy, about ye high?" I asked,

"Well ye-" 

"He's here, can you show me where he is?"

"Um, I'll get Emma to show you,"

"Are you sure about Enoch?" Emma asked as we walked toward the yard, "He's not exactly the nicest person around,"

I smiled, remembering Enoch, "Yep I'm sure,"

"Well, here he is," Emma said, gesturing to the boy under the tree, playing with dolls,well, that's Enoch all right,

"Oh! I'm going to surprise him!" I cried, sneaking towards him, we used to try and scare each other when we were little,

"I'm not sure if that it's good ide-" Emma started, but she was too late,

I was already there, I wrapped my hands around Enoch's eyes, "Guess who!" 

"Whoever this is, this is not fun," Enoch said, crossing his arms,

Once I realized that Enoch wasn't going to guess, I uncovered my hands from his eyes, "It's me!" I cried, turning to face him,

At first he was looking grumpy, that is, until he realized who I was, "Emilia?" he said, his voice full of hope,

"Yep!" I cried, wrapping my arms around his as I felt tears streaming down my face, "I-I thought you were dead,"

"I thought you were dead! Where were you these last few years?" 

"I was in Miss Robin's loop, well that is, until it was raided a few days ago,"

"Oh my bird, really, I wish I was with you in that loop,"

"Oh well, we're together now,"

Enoch and I talked all the way until dinner, 

"Come on! Let's go!" Enoch said, grabbing my hand and pulled me to the dining room,

"So today, we have a new peculiar joining us, Miss Emilia,"

That is my cue, so Enoch and I walked in, I waved timidly, "Hi," I said before I started to look for a seat,

Almost immediately murmurs began,

"A new peculiar?"

"Wait, is Enoch actually smiling?"

"Why did she walk in with Enoch?"

"What?"

"Emi, sit here!" Enoch said, tapping the seat next him, 

I gratefully sat next to him, on the other side was a fancy blonde boy, he was wearing a fancy top hat and a fine tux, I smiled at him, and when Fancy Boy-that's Just What I call him-noticed that, he blushed and smiled back. Although when Enoch noticed, he just glared at him, I kicked Enoch on the knee.

"Ow!" He cried, clutching his knee under the table,

"Is there anything wrong Mr O'Conner?" Miss Peregrine asked,

"Oh, um n-nothing,"

"Anyways everyone should introduce themselves to Emilia......" Miss Peregrine started,

"Oh! Um, Emilia O'Conner, Pleased to meet you,"

"O-O'Conner?" Fancy Boy asked,

"Yep,"

"But that would mean....."

"Yeah, I'm Enoch's twin sister," I said, and the reaction was immediate,

"What!"

"That explains it," 

"That's why she,"

"So, um mind introducing yourselves," I asked,

"Horace Somnusson, pleases to meet you," Fancy Boy said, kissing my hand, "Prophetic dreams,"

"Bronwyn Bruntley, and my brother, Victor," said a mannish girl with dark brown hair, 

"I'm Hugh Aspiton, and I have bees living in my stomach," said a boy on the other side of the table, wearing a bee net, then he pointed to the wild haired girl who is sitting next to him, "She's Fiona Fraunfield, she have agrokenisis, which mean she can control plants,"

"I'm Olive, I can levitate," A girl in corner said, 

"That is so cool," I said,

"What is your peculiarity, please tell us," Olive said,

Just as I was about to reply, Bronwyn interjected, "Olive don't say that, she don't have to if she don't want to,"

"That's all right," I said, "I don't mind telling, I have hydrokinesis which means that I can basically control water,"

After they introduced themselves, we started eating, there were chicken and salad, and a salmon, but just as we started eating, there was a Big Bang,

"W-What was that?" I asked, scared,

I felt Enoch grip my hand, "Don't worry, it's just the reset, it might seem scary but it's perfectly safe,"

There was another bang, I screamed, I felt a hand rest on my shoulder, I looked up. It was Horace,

"Come on! Let's show Emilia the reset!" Olive cried,

"Okay?" 

So they brought me out to their backyard, which is confusing because there are bombs raining! Just then, a bomber plane flew over the house and dropped a bomb!

I screamed and ducked down, a moment later, I heard nothing, I waited another moment and I still heard nothing.

I looked up to find everyone laughing,

"Perhaps," Miss Peregrine said, hiding a smile,"I should've prepared you more for our reset,"
