Melo and Brandi have been Bestfriend's for about 7 years now. When Brandi starts to develop feelings for Melo she's stuck on what to do. Will her feelings turn out to something good. Or will it hurt their friendship?
I wake up in bed with a serious headache. My phone starts dinging with a ton of notifications. I check the time and see it was 2 in the afternoon. I never sleep this late. Melo had called me and texted me. I call him back so he wouldn't be worried.
Melo: hello
Brandi: hey Dip wassup?
Melo: lil girl why you ain't answer my calls?
Brandi: I was sleep.
Melo: yeah aight. What you doing?
Brandi: about to get in the shower.
Melo: come over when you get out. I leave late tonight to go back to Ohio.
Brandi: yeah I forgot about that.
Melo: yeah I'm tryna spend time with my baby before I leave.
Brandi: time or tiiiimmee?
Melo: both.
Brandi: bet, I'm bout to go shower. See you in a bit.
Melo: alright bae.
I hang up the phone and go get in the shower.
When I get out I change into my outfit I had payed out.

On my way out the door my mom calls me into the living room. She was sitting on the couch with some man I've never seen before.
Brandi: yeah mom?
Jackie: hey honey. I got somebody I want you to meet. This is Kevin.
Brandi: hi Kevin. You guys dating?
Kevin: I hope so (Laughs).
Jackie: we're enjoying each other's company.
Brandi: ok I know what that means mom. I'm not 6 (Laughs).
Jackie: ok well yeah. We're dating.
Brandi: aww well I'm happy for you guys. Kevin treat her good, she deserves it.
