Summer came and went as we prepared for the tour. Between writing songs and hanging out with Josh, Matt, Mike, Ian, Damian, Aaron and Sophie, we had all grown a strong bond. We did go to the concert in Toronto, and we even got to hear their newest album Ever After before it was released. Well, some of the tracks, at least.
But now, looking at how fast summer has passed and how fast our relationships had grown, I realised something. Josh and I have never been just friends, we’ve always had that spark. Aaron and Sophie started dating after the whole ‘Jenn’ incident, and after she had the child, Josh had a paternity test. He was right, and management had apologized for accusing him of being her childs father. As for Jenn, we haven’t heard from her for a couple of weeks.
Fitting the last pair of jeans, shirts, and garments I would need for the tour, I looked up, recalling all the memories held in my room. Jason was sitting on my bed watching me, considering he was coming on tour with us to keep me ‘safe’. Whatever that means. No words were spoken, but we both knew what this means. This means that we are leaving our father. That our names now will be known to many people. That I am not just Cara Eliza Calington; he is not just Jason Brody Calington. Things will be different, and we both feel it.
Turning around, I zipped my luggage up and threw it on the ground, plopping on the bed as Damian and Josh ran into my room and pouncing onto Jay and I. Groaning, Jay pushed them off of us and smiled.
“Almost tour time!”
“Yup, almost tour time- that’s for sure.” I agreed, smiling at Josh as he pulled me in his lap.
Damian looked at us and smiled, jumping on top of both of us. “Josh, what have I told you about keeping your hands off of my girl?”
“Your girl? Son, you have Matt!” Josh exclaimed as Matt walked in the room.
Smirking at us, he walked up behind Damian and wrapped his arms around his waist, kissing his cheek. “He sure does; and Ian has his pug!”
Laughing, we all lugged our bags down the stairs to the awaiting tour bus. Throwing them into our bunks, which we already sorted out, we sat down. Kissing Josh on the cheek, he smiled at me. “This will be one of the best tours ever.”
Biting my lip, I nodded and gently brushed my lips across his, “Yes, it will be. This is a memorable summer. Meeting you, getting you, getting found. All of this is amazing; and to think, I hated you in the beginning.” I laughed.
“Things change, we changed.”
“We definitely did, babe. But I wouldn’t change a thing.” With that, Josh kissed me.

Hey! So, this is the end. I don't think I'm going to make a sequel. :/ And I know this isn't much of an ending, but I couldn't think of much to put for it. Then I didn't want to drag it on... so, I hope you enjoyed my story. I'm going to miss writing it. u_u
