No, he wouldn't hurt me or my friends, right? Josh isn't like that. Sure, he was talking to this 'Jenn' chick, but she's a nobody, right? I mean, that's what he told me... I think? I don't know!
Why are you talking to yourself?
Who are you?
Well, I'm you, silly!
How is that?
Don't ask questions! Just stop thinking of him!
Alright, alright. I'll try to stop thinking of 'him' and what Ay' said, even though it's close to impossible.
Good!
Sighing, I turned to look at Day and Sophie, who were getting into a big discussion about who would win a fight- Superman or Batman. So far, Sophie looks pissed off because Damian doesn't think that Batman would win, when obviously he would.
"Cara! Tell her Superman would win! Tell her, tell her!"
"Day, I would love to tell her that, but, well... I've got to go with Batman. I mean, come on! He's epic!"
Damian stared at me, wide-eyed and shocked. "I-I can't believe you didn't take my side! How dare you!"
With that, he turned and walked out, then popped his head back in and gave a cheeky smile. "Is that good enough to be diva-like?"
I laughed while Sophie responded. "Yes, yes it is. Why do you want to go for 'diva-like'?" She added air-quotations and raised an eyebrow.
"Well, I have a good feeling about the charity thing. I really, really do." Damian grinned from ear to ear and ran off, leaving us to wonder what he meant. Deep in thought, I bit my lip and thought.
What does Damian mean by a 'good feeling'? Does he know something we don't know? I mean, he seems like he does, but he might just be cocky right now... right? Don't think too much into it, just don't! I mean, really. It's probably nothing! Yeah, that's it. He's just putting us in chills right now, trying to get us pumped. Well guess what Damian, I'm already pumped! Yeah!
Sophie looked over at me and laughed. "What? What's so funny, Soph?"
"You speak out loud when you think, CC!" She reesponded through laughs, holding her side. "How many times do you give yourself pep-talks?"
"Um," I thought, hitting my chin with my finger, "Too many?"
This just caused her to laugh even harder. Damian then walked into the room with ice cream and looked over at Sophie, then shoved it in her face. Laughing, I covered my mouth to stop myself from sounding so loud. I don't think it worked.
Damian smiled at her innocently, then walked over to me. I started to back away before he raised an eyebrow at me and effortlessly lured me over to him. He pulled me into a hug and whispered 'sorry' in my ear. Confused, I looked up to him and he licked my cheek and threw an ice-cream cone into my face and ran off.
"Damian!" Sophie and I both screeched before laughing and chasing after him.
Our feet pounding against the wood floor, we chased Damian around the room. Racing from across the counter, jumping over the table, and around all rooms in general, Sophie and I were determained to get him. Damian couldn't stop laughing as we were screaming profanities at him every chance we could.
After about ten minutes, I caught Damian by the shirt- only to have him weasle his way out of it and down to the basement. Cussing under my breath, I looked at Sophie giving a knowing look that said 'let's clean our faces and get him when he least expects it'. She smiled, ushering me into the nearest washroom and closing the door behind me. I smiled to myself. My friends are crazy, haha.
After washing the sticky ice-cream off of my face, I walked out and heard Damian and Aaron talking in the kitchen. What they were talking about, I don't know. They were just mumbles. Seeing how I am one awkward penguin, I walked right in.
"Miss me, boys?" I winked.
Damian laughed and winked back. "Sure did, sugar!"
"Well, have no fear-"
"Batman is here!"
I turned around and found Sophie behind me, giggling like a school girl. "Hi Cara! Feeling better?"
"Well, I'm not sticky anymore, so yes. Yes I am!"
I giggled, too, looking at the boys' faces. They held confused looks and looked from Sophie to me, and back to Sophie. I laughed harder, holding my side before standing upright again, giving a slight glare towards Aaron, then giving the sweetest look I could conjure up to Damian. I took a cautions step towards Damian, watching my surroundings closely. Day is one for pranks- no doubt about that.
Just as I walked over an invisible line, I was about to warn Sophie about it, when I heard her squeal.
"Damian, you are so dead!"
I'm sorry! This is all I can think of for doing in the story right now! :( I had the most amazing, epic, sad, awesome, tear-filled thing set up before my stupid laptop got a virus. :( I'm sorry! Plus, I'm having a major brain-fart because, well, I'm going to two concerts tomorrow at Bayfest! Hedley and Simple Plan with the Offspring! One at 3PM and one at, what is it? I don't even know. I'll work on one as soon as I get back, though! <3 Please give me ideas as to what you would like to have in the story? I'm working on a special surprise, but it needs to gain there because I reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeally don't want to skip from one day to-BOOM! Concert charity thing day.
