Driving down Jasper Avenue, we finally found Hardware Grill. Damian parked the car, which held our set of drums and a couple of guitars, we got out and waited for Matt, Ian, Mike and Josh to all arrive. After a few minutes, a black van drove up parking in the closest available spot. Stepping out of the doors, Matt, Mike and Josh all piled out feverishly as Ian slumped out of the front seat with the black haired devil trailing, more so waddling, behind them all.

Quick to hide my disgust towards her, I allowed Josh to tackle me into a hug with Ian speedily jumping on top, causing all the boys to dog pile onto me with Sophie watching with amused eyes. After many failed attempts to push the boys off, Soph clapped her hands together, gathering their attention before Jenn could even speak.

“Alright, everyone ready for lunch?”

“Yes!” we all chorused, dashing towards the restaurant and waiting for our turn to get our reservation. Within five minutes of a tense atmosphere, we had gotten seated and quickly read through our menus. As the waiter came by, taking our orders, we all asked for some water. Josh had asked for a bottle of red wine before winking at me, and stating that he would like a Kobe Beef Burger.

Quick to respond, Ian and Aaron had ordered the same as Jenn asked for the B.L.T salad. Sophie had ordered the Hearts of Romaine a la Ceasar, while Damian ordered the grilled chicken breast, looking at me and ordering a second one to go with my Linguini with Kobe Beef Meat Balls.

After the food arrived, we all dug into our food. Fighting the urge to roll my eyes at Damian making kissing faces towards Aaron and Sophie- which caused both of them to blush a deep shade of crimson red- and Josh flirting with me, we finally paid for our food.

Stepping into the bright sunlight, Josh laughed. “Alright, seriously, what’s going on between these two?” Josh pointed his thumb towards Aaron and Sophie, waggling his brows.

“N-nothing is going on between us!” Sophie stuttered while Aaron blushed mumbling an incoherent answer.

“Really?” Matt asked them after smacking Ian in the butt, causing Ian to stand upright and laugh at Matt. Mike eyed Soph down, waiting for her to elaborate, which she didn’t.

“So,” Mike spoke slowly, “nothing is going on between you two?”

“Nope.” Soph popped the ‘p’ while Aaron looked up, hurt.

“Actually, we’ve been thinking of starting to date!” he hastily replied, quick to cover his mouth.

“I knew it!” Damian and I exclaimed, high-fiving one another.

Mike looked at Sophie with an indescribable expression then forced a smile, “Really? Awesome!”

Sophie looked at Mike, a sad look clouding her eyes as she went and kissed Aaron on the cheek. “Thanks!”

Looking back and forth between them, I finally looked at Jenn. Sending me a sneer and flipping me off. Shocked, I looked at Josh as he started conversing with Aaron about our record deal and how it would work. As Mike started to talk to Damian, Sophie, Matt and Ian, my phone started to ring.

Before any of the guys could really hear it, I answered it. “Hello?”

“Yes, is this Cara Calington?”

“Yes it is.” I respond, walking away from the boys, Jenn watching my every move. Turning my back to her, I started to speak again. “Who may this be?”

“This is Amber from Alert Music. Mr. Rouzaki wanted me to call to tell you that he has found some bands to tour with around Canada and the UK.”

“Really?” Excitement bubbled inside of me. “Who are we touring with?”

At this point I turned around, finding all of my friends- not including Jennifer- looking at me with curiosity. Hearing Amber chuckle, my grin grew another ten inches. “Yes, dear. You will be touring with All Time Low, Hedley, Simple Plan, and Marianas Trench.”

Hearing that, my heart beat picked up, beating like a hummingbirds wings. “Really?”

Hearing her sigh, she responded. “Yes, hon. I hope you enjoy it. You should pack in the next couple of weeks, and Jackson would also like you to start to work on some more songs to perform so you don’t do more covers than necessary.”

“Alright! Thank you so much!” Squealing, I ran up to Damian, knocking him to the ground. “Damian! Damian, Damian, Damian!” I screeched.

Laughing he picked me up so he was holding me around his waist. “Yes Cara?”

A smirk appeared on his face, but I didn’t care. “We’re going on tour soon! With Simple Plan, Hedley, All Time Low, and those losers!” I pointed to the boys standing behind us.

“Hey! We aren’t losers!” They all protested.

“What, really?!” Excitement now buzzed all around us, Sophie was bouncing on the balls of her feet while Aaron looked astounded.

“Yes, yes, and yes! But we need to pack, we need to write, we need to do so much! Come on!” I started to drag Damian and Sophie away while Sophie was grabbing at Aaron to follow. Turning on my feet, I looked to Josh. “Oh, and I’ve been dying to do this to you since the third time we met.” I smirked.

Going up to Josh, I pulled on the collar of his shirt and kissed him. I kissed him with all of my passion as sparks flew through out my body as he kissed back. Tangling my hands in his hair, he nibbled on my bottom lip, begging for entrance. I opened my mouth, allowing his tongue to dance with mine as his arms tightened around my waist. Pulling back, breathless, we leaned our foreheads together, both panting.

“Wow.” He whispered.

Mumbling a yeah to him, I kissed him one last time before turning to Jenn, who was fuming, and stalked off with my friends.

Did that ever feel good.
