Alright, here it is! Chapter 16 in one night for me. That's good! I really appreciate those who read this and fanned me! :) I absolutely love you guys! I just have to say, I didn't know how this chapter would end up, so I think it's pretty bad. A filler, might I add. But the fun will begin soon enough! :)
“Hey, uh, guys?”
All four of the boys looked up with smiling faces, then spoke. “Yes?”
“I think I’m going to go home and see my friends, OK?” I smiled at them and gave a little wave.
“Alright, we’ll see you tomorrow at the charity concert thingy.” Mike said, walking over to me and giving me a friendly hug.
I smiled as Matt and Ian came over and gave me hugs, also. I looked at Josh and blushed a shade of scarlet. Josh got up, walking to me slowly. When he reached me, he looked down at me while I was looking up at him. Placing my arms around him awkwardly, he replied with placing his hands around my waist, pulling me close to him. Now, I’m not one to be cheesy, but all I could see was him and his gorgeous eyes.
Josh leaned in close to my ear. “I’ll be seeing you later, and in my dreams.”
Smiling to myself, Josh pulled away. Going on my tiptoes quickly, I pecked him on the lips- lingering there for a moment, then pulling away. I smiled and gave a small wave before telling the guys I couldn’t wait for them to see me perform. It’s amazing how giving one guy a chance can change my view on him massively.
I opened the door and walked down the corridor, stopping at the elevator and clicking the button. What does this make Josh and I now? Are we just friends, or friends with benefits, or are we together? I don’t know. I think he likes me- I mean, why would he kiss me if he didn’t? Maybe he just thought it was a good moment and take a plunge… I mean, I heard him talking to that person on the phone and say ‘that girl means nothing to me’. Could it be me he was talking about?
Walking out of the elevator, captivated in my thoughts, I walked down the streets making all the proper turns to reach Sophie’s aunts house. All the while listening to music, of course. My steps matching each beat that came on, I started humming along to What Makes You Beautiful by One Direction.
‘You’re insecure, don’t know what for. You’re turning heads when you walk through the door. Don’t need make-up to cover up; being the way that you are is enough. Everyone else in the room can see it, everyone else but you. Baby you light up my world like nobody else, the way that you flip your hair gets me overwhelmed. But when you smile at the ground it ain’t hard to tell, you don’t know. You don’t know you’re beautiful.’
Walking up to Sophie’s house, I knocked and waited for someone to answer the door. After one minute passed, nobody came. Two minutes passed, then two more. I knocked again, a bit harder though. This time, Aaron came to the door, looking a bit exerted. I smiled and hugged him.
Screaming, I jumped on him. “Aaron! I missed you, I need to tell you all what fucking happened! You would never believe if!”
Looking puzzled, he nodded. “Yeah, we do. Damian has been in hysterics since you messaged him, Cara. Where have you been? He’s been panicking and worrying about you and about how you are.”
Aaron held a serious face and spoke to me, staring straight into my eyes. Looking down, I nodded. “I’ve been with Josh and the guys. I’m perfectly fine, can’t you see? A little bruised, some cuts, but I’m fine.”
“You will need to tell Damian and Soph that. They’re both really worried.”
Nodding again, I walked in and followed Aaron to the living room. Damian was sitting with his hands folded and his head in between his knees. Sophie was right beside him, rubbing his back, comforting him. It looked as though they both have been crying.
