Chapter 9

Sorry I haven't written in a while. Busy with school but U don't care. So on with the story

"Hey guys, I'm having a party at my house this tonight and you're all invited!"Allura texted to the group chat.

Ha social anxiety, no thanks. I thought flinging my phone onto my bed.

"If you guys want you can sleep over, my parents will be out of town" I read it as I finished up my homework for the weekend, then Shiro barged into my room.

"Keith, buddy, hey man" he said. He only said this when he wanted something

"What do you want?" I asked.

"What do you mean?"

"I mean,  what do you want?" i said crossing my arms and smirking"

"PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE GO SLEEP OVER AT YOUR FRIENDS HOUSE"

"Why?"

'You're making friends right? Go sleep over at your friends house"

"Again, why?"

"I kinda got myself into this mess with Adam"

"And?"

"And I told him we've got the house to ourselves"

"Ew!" I said

" I Know! So I need you to get out of here!"

"Ugh" I said, getting up and starting to pack a bag.
"I will owe you forever"
"I know"
"I love you"
"I know" I walked down the stairs.
"You want a hug?"
"NO" I said slamming my door and walking down the street.

KEITH! I heard someone yell from behind me. Lance. I turned and saw him running to catch up.
"You going to Allura's?"
"Yeah" I said.
"Are you sleeping over?"
"Yeah" I said reluctantly.
"Not a big party fan?"
"Yeah"
"Then why are you going?"
"I have to" then I went on to explain my situation.
"Oh. neat" Neat? I chuckled to myself and he nudged me.
"Keith?"
"Yeah?"

"I like you"
"What?"

"I like you"

"I heard you but like why now?"
"What do you mean?"
"You like like me?"
"I guess you could say that."
"Why?"
"I DON'T KNOW!" I didn't know how to respond, just then Hunk showed up.
"Heyyy guys!" he said slinging his arm around both our shoulders.
"You headed over to Alluras?" we both nodded. "Cool!" we turned down their street and knocked on their door. Pidge answered it.

"Hey guys!" we walked in and I grabbed Pidge's hand and dragged her into another room. "Woah!" I heard from behind me.

Their house was immaculate, and no one had shown up yet, besides Pidge. I closed the door behind me and said.
"I've got a problem"
"Yeah I caught on" she said.
"Lance said he likes me" her face lit up. She started jumping up and down and went in for a hug which i refused.
"This is not a good thing!" I said.
"Why? This is what I was going to tell you after school!"
"Ooh yeah, why didn't you tell me earlier!?"
"I mean it still is after school, so technically I didn't do anything wrong-"
"Nevermind that, what do I do!"
"Well you like him right?"
"i-I don't know-"
"Come on"
"Okay fine" she started squealing again louder this time. I had to cover her mouth with my hand.
"Shh!"

"Right sorry"
"What. do. I. Do?"
"You hit that!" she said. Suddenly the door opened. It was Hunk.
"Are you guys okay in here? I heard a loud squeaking noise I was just making sure Keith hasn't choked Pidge" we looked around the room, everyone was watching us clueless as to what was going on except Lance, who was bright red.
"Nothing's wrong. We're fine" I said monotone.
"We're great!" Pidge said skipping out.
'Alright, well let's' have some fun before some other guests arrive"
"Alright" Hunk said.
