Car Crash

Cleo's POV

"We're going to miss you girl" Ricky states as she and Annie hug me.

"See you during break" Annie adds as they pull away.

"You bet" I tell them smiling gently. Small body hugs my waist and I look down to see a teary eyed Jimmy. I smile and kneel down to his level and hold him close. "I'll talk to you every night, I promise to be home as soon as possible. But be good for Aunt Lara" I tell him.

"I will, but I'll miss you Sissy" he states.

"I'll miss you too little brother" I assure him. I kiss his cheek and pull away. I look at Ace and pat his neck fondly. "Watch over him boy, he'll need you" I whisper in his ear. He barks as if saying he would and I smile. I stand and hug Aunt Lara.

"Have a safe journey Cleo, call as soon as you reach campus" she tells me.

"I will, just look after Jimmy. He'll need you" I tell her smiling gently.

"I'll treat him like my own" she assures me.

"Thank you Aunt Lara, you've been like a second mother to us" I tell her.

"I've always thought of you as my children, since your parents deaths. I promised your mother to watch over you both. I'm glad I did" she tells me smiling and I tear up. "No tears, this is a happy occasion" she states wiping my tears away. "Your parents would be proud of you and Jimmy" she adds.

"I hope so, I miss them dearly" I tell her. She kisses my forehead as a convertible mustang appears. It stops behind my car and Thantos steps out.

"Sorry, I'm late" he says walking over and he wraps his arms around my waist. "Traffic was terrible darling, becarful on your journey" he tells me. He then kisses me and I return it happily. I hear Jimmy gag as we pull away and I giggle.

"You'll find love one day Jimmy" I tell him.

"No way, girls have cooties" he states.

"Oh really?" Ricky, Annie and I ask him. He nods his head and I smirk. I pick him up and us girls smother his cheeks with kisses. He squeals and starts to laugh as we pull away. I put him down and he rubs his cheeks.

"Goodbye sweet little brother, take care of Ace and Aunt Lara" I tell him. I then hug Thantos again. "I'll miss you Thantos, I wish you could go with me" I state.

"I know dear, but Mr Michelson wants me to help with finding cause of death of three new bodies. But I promise to visit this weekend" he assures me.

"Ok" I say and pecks my lips gently.

"While I'm there we can start to discuss wedding plans" he tells me.

"Speaking of the wedding, who's going to be your maid of honor?" Annie asks me.

"Don't know yet" I tell her. Just then Jimmy grabs our attention.

"Can I be ring bearer?" he asks us.

"Of course" Thantos and I tell him smiling.

"Sweetie you have to go now if you want to reach campus before dark" Aunt Lara reminds me.

"Right, see you all later" I say having a group hug. I get into my car and give them a longingly smile. Before driving away.

(Cleo's house) third person POV

"Well I have to get to work before I get fired, see you guys around" Thantos tells the others. They agree and he leaves in his mustang. Ricky and Annie go have lunch. While He pulls into a dark forest vanishing the car and teleports to Cleo's car.

(Country road) Cleo's POV

I'm driving down the country road away from home and my loved ones. When Thantos appears and I jump in surprise. "Relax darling" he says grabbing one of my hands.

"It's nearly time isn't it?" I ask him as I continue to drive.

"Yes" he answers. "Are you ready?" he asks me.

"Yes, but I'm afraid" I tell him honestly.

"No need to fear, I will protect your soul with me entire being" he assures me. Suddenly he grabs the wheel and turns it sharply. Making the car turn, but I'm going to fast and the car starts to flip. I black out as the passage side hit the ground first.

(After her death) Cleo's POV

I wake up in Thantos' arms on the side of the road. I notice I'm now wearing a long white gown and my hair is thicker. More wavy then before. "Am I dead?" I ask him.

"Yes" is all he says. I feel something inside me and frown focusing on it. Before gasping putting a hand on my stomach.

"I'm..." I go to say.

"I know" he says smiling.

"How long have you known?" I ask him annoyed.

"Since we did it, but no far no one will find any evidence of it in your dead human body" he assures me. "Now we have a surprise for you" he tells me. As Gaia appears.

"You know the one power I never told you about dear?" she asks me. I nod my head. "Well once you seal your bond with Thantos. You'll become life and be able to visit heaven whenever you please" she tells me. I look at her shocked, and start to tear up. I'd be able to see my parents and Jimmy again, along with Aunt Lara & my friends in Heaven.

"We seal our bond after your funeral dear" Thantos tells me holding me close. "For now, let me show you your new home" he tells me. Gaia smiles at us and disappears. Thantos then transports us to a mansion. I look at it in awe. "Lets get you to bed dear, you need rest" he tells me.

"But, my funeral" I tell him.

"We'll attend it, but you have thirty six hours until then. So rest and I'll give you a tour of the mansion in the morning" he tells me. I agree and we takes us to the master bedroom. My dress turns into a nightgown and we crawl into the king size bed. "I shall remain until you fall asleep" he assures me and I close my eyes. Before drifting off to sleep.
