(50 years later) Cleo's POV
I'm relaxing rocking my newest baby, she was a surprise to all of us. As Death can only create life once usually. But here I am with our third little angel. It's been fifties years since Alexa and Jack were born. They both stopped aging at twenty-five. They have also started they're training a decade ago. So Jack has taken over my duties for the time being while Alexa has taken over for Thantos. So that we both can bond with Angel.
"Beauty we're running late" Thantos says entering the nursery.
"You still haven't told me what's so important" I tell him smiling.
"It's our fiftieth anniversary, I'm allowed to surprise you" he tells me.
"Ok, let me grab Angel's nappy bag" I tell him as I stand.
"Already got it" Jack says standing in the door way.
"Mum, hurry up" Alexa tells me and I roll my eyes. We all leave and I'm blindfolded as Alexa takes Angel from me.
"Seriously?" I ask pouting.
"Seriously" Thantos states and pecks my lips. I feel us transport. Thantos guides me somewhere where I hear people talking. They go silent though as we approach. The blind fold is removed.
"Surprise!" people cheer. I look around to see my parents, Thantos' dad, a woman I've never meet, god, Lucifer, Aunt Lara, my best friends and Jimmy.
"Jim!" I shout and he looks at me.
"Cleo!" he shouts running over and hugs me tightly. "I've missed you so much" he states pulling away.
"I've missed you to, I have so much to tell you" I tell him.
"Mum and dad explained what happened all those years ago. I'm not mad at you, just glad we can still see each other" he states. I hug him again getting teary eyed.
"Hey no tears" mum tells me.
"They're tears of joy" I tell her as I dab them away. I hug everyone.
"Who's this?" dad asks looking at Angel.
"I know I haven't been visiting, but there was a very good reason for that" I state taking her in my arms. "Everyone, we'd like you to meet the newest member of our family. Angel Bori Petrova-Death" I announce. They all cheer and I let mum hold her first before calling my adult children over. "Jim these are your niece and nephew. Alexa, Jack this is your uncle Jim" I say introducing them.
"It's an honour to finally meet you sir" Jack says.
"Call me Uncle Jimmy" Jim tells him.
"Nice to meet you Uncle" Alexa says nodding. "Aunt Bonnie, Aunt Ricky!" she cheers hugging them. They bring our her bright cheery side.
"Alexa, we discussed your all black wardrobe" Ricky scolds her playfully.
"It's a family reunion, give her a break" Bonnie tells her.
"Beauty, may I borrow you for a moment?" Thantos asks.
"Of course, Jim we'll talk later" I promise him. Before following Thantos over to his father. Who is talking to the unknown woman.
"Damon dear, there you are" the woman says smiling.
"It's Thantos now mother" he corrects her.
"Mother?" I ask surprised.
"Yes Beauty, this is my human mother Lillian" Thantos tells me smiling. "Mother this is my wife Cleo" he states.
"Katrina" she says looking at me.
"No Cleo, Katrina is my ancestor" I correct her. "Unlike her, I have never cheat on Thantos" I state.
"That's a lie, she never cheated on him. They were never together" she snaps.
"Mother we both know that's a lie. She dated me before Stefan and when I left to train with my real father. She cheated on me with him and they started dating. She and I never broke up" Thantos tells her firmly.
"She knows that son" Thantos father assures him. "After all she did have an affair with me on the night before her wedding" he says smirking.
"You tricked me" she retorts.
"Didn't stop you though" he says smirking.
"Anyway, Beauty I have one last surprise" Thantos tells me.
"What surprise?" I ask him smiling.
"Well all your loved ones are here, so I thought today would be the perfect opportunity to have a vow renewal" he tells me.
"That's a perfect idea" I say smiling. Bonnie, Ricky, mum and Aunt Lara take me away to get ready. Leaving Angel with dad. As Thantos' dad and Jim took him away to get ready.
We had a beautiful ceremony and partied the night away. Then left Angel with mum, dad and Jim. So that Thantos and I could enjoy some alone time. Alexa and Jack still do our jobs for us. All in all it was a perfect family reunion aside from Thantos' human mother. I have a feeling there are many more happy years to come.
