I'm getting ready for the soul ceremony and I am a little nervous. It's practically a wedding ceremony. I am sitting in front of the vanity drying my hair when there's a knock on the door. "Thantos you know you can't see me before the ceremony" I call. The door opens and some enters. "Thantos, we agreed to..." I start to say turning around and am surprised to see my mother. "Mum!" I shout standing up and run over to her.
"Did you really think your father and I would miss this special day?" she asks me.
"How are you here?" I ask pulling away.
"Everyone whether they go to heaven or hell, can go the other one once. Your father and I are using it now" she explains. "So that I can help you get ready and he can walk you down the aisle" she states.
"Thank you" I say smiling.
"Don't thank me yet, there's still work to do" she tells me. So we spend the next hour getting me ready. Then she helps do up my dress and I was stepping into my heels when there's another knock at the door. She answers it and lets dad in. I hug him and he hugs me tightly before we pull away.

"You look beautiful Cleo" he tells me. "But we better be going, don't want to be late for your own soul ceremony" he states. I nod my head and we all leave. We go to the devil's garden, the most beautiful place in hell. Where the cherry blossoms are all in bloom. I see Thantos standing at the end of the aisle with his father and another man. I knew as the devil, I meet him after my funeral. I've only soon his human form, I'm sure his devil form is scarier.
Mum goes down the aisle first as the music starts. Dad links arms with me and we start to go down the aisle. Once we reach the end he gives me to Thantos before sitting down. "Dearly beloved we are gathered here today to witness the union of Death and the new Life" the devil announces. There's only three witnesses, but they are three really important people.
"Now the vows, Thantos you may go first" Lucifer states.
"I, Thantos, in faith, honesty and love, take you, Cleo, to be my wedded wife and soul bond, To share with you God's plan for our lives together united in Christ. And with Devil's help, to strengthen and guide me I will be a strong spiritual leader for us in our eternal life, For better, for worse, in sickness and in health, in joys and in sorrows, for eternity. I give you all that I have myself, my love and my soul. All these things I pledge to thee in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. With this ring I seal my vow of love to you, Cleo. In the Name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit" he vows placing a ring on my finger.
I take the other ring and start my vows. "I, Cleo, in faith, honesty and love, take you, Thantos, to be my wedded husband and soul bond, To share with you God's plan for our lives together united in Christ. And with God's help, to strengthen and guide me I will be your supportive loving wife, For better, for worse, in sickness and in health, in joys and in sorrows, for eternity. I give you all that I have myself, my love and my soul. All these things I pledge to thee in the Name of our Lord Jesus Christ. With this ring I seal my vow of love to you, Thantos In the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit" I vow.
"Amen" Lucifer says.
"Amen" mum, dad and Thantos' dad repeats.
"With the power invested in me, I pronounce you soul mates for eternity. As well as husband and wife, you may kiss the bride" Lucifer announces. Thantos kisses me passionately which I return.
We pull away but he hugs me close. "Before we leave to celebrate our union. We have an announcement" Thantos tells everyone.
"We're expecting a baby" I say smiling and mum squeals hugging me. Thantos father curses and hands something to Lucifer.
"You better take good care of our daughter and grandchild" dad tells Thantos.
"I will and we'll visit you guys once a week for dinner in heaven" Thantos tells him. I smile as mum finally lets me go. Thantos then pulls me in for a dance and I smile as I place a hand on his shoulder. We look in each other's eyes blocking out the world. "I love you my beautiful wife" he tells me.
"As I love you my handsome husband" I say and give him a gentle kiss. "Not that I don't love dancing with you, because I do. But there is something I'd rather be doing" I tell him smiling. He smirks and we disappear from the garden and reappear in our bedroom. Where we seal out union in the most loving way possible. We made love all night.
