A/N: So let it be known that I will make Harry Styles read this whenever we get together and are pretty sure we will stay together. Reason 1 being that a person who truly loves you loves you for even your most embarrassing moments and reason 2 being that I think it’s a fairly decent story that he would laugh at. On other news I do realize my dreams of ever meeting Harry Styles is sort of zilch but I would like too! Him and the rest of them!  So if you do have a twitter, promote my story on there, maybe? Comment also! Seriously even if it’s a silly comment DO IT! I will happily respond and maybe chat with you as well. I really am a friendly person and won’t judge you! So back to the story, hope you enjoy!

Chapter 25: Sober Love

As I walked in to Barnaby’s I saw Louis and Zayn getting up. I was only a minute late and by the looks of it Louis seemed absolutely excited at the prospect of kidnapping me even before he saw me.

“Lou love, give her another five minutes.” Eleanor said laughing a bit as she put her hand on his arms to prevent him from walking away.

“Ele dear I gave her a time limit! What kind of parent would I be if I didn’t keep my word?!” Parent? As far as I knew Louis was far from being my parent… “And to be honest I was hoping to kidnap her!” Louis said with a laugh as Zayn rolled his eyes and turned to the entrance where I was finally noticed.

“Charlie!” He said walking over to me and giving me a hug. I hugged him back taking in his warmth.

“Hey guys!” I looked around and greeting them. I sat down and ordered myself a hot cup of joe. “So why aren’t you getting ready for the awards tonight?” I asked them. I looked around the table and there was one face missing, Harry’s. “And where’s Harry?”

“Oh we are. It’s a bit of a break really. Harry though is currently picking up Liam and Danielle from the airport. She got better and decided she didn’t want Liam to miss this opportunity.” Louis smiled. “Why? Did you need to talk to him?”

“What? No I was just curious is all.” I scoffed as I took a sip from my coffee scalding my tongue. “That’s great to know Liam’s able to attend tonight.” I commented as I picked up the complimentary biscotti to munch on.

“So when are you coming home?” Erin asked me bluntly causing me to nearly choke on my biscotti. “I mean you can take your time and all but I severally miss you and you belong in London with me and the rest of us!” she pouted.

“Um… well I was thinking about that this morning actually.” I said finishing up the food in my hand.

“Really?! And?” Erin’s eyes held excitement along with the rest of them. They really did miss me.

“I might come home sometime next week, besides they need me at the office. Patrice doesn’t like the temp very much.” I shrugged.

“Is that the only reason you’re coming home?” Niall asked curiously. What more did they want from me?

I wasn’t going to tell them because I wasn’t even certain if Harry still felt the same. This situation reminded me of the old Adele song “Chasing Pavements”. You know where it went “If I tell the world I’ll never say enough cause it was not said to you”… I want to tell him how I feel first before I tell them.

“Yup, that’s the only reason I have.” I told them. I felt them congenially sigh as if they were holding their breath. “Anyway, it was a nice breakfast but I should get back to writing and leave you guys to prepare for the show. I’ll watch it tonight so don’t worry.” I said with a smile as I downed the rest of my coffee and laid a five on the table. “Bye guys!”
