A/N: Harry has a girl in his life! (well in the story, I’m not sure in real-life though…) It was sort of hard writing this because I really do love Harry and to imagine him with someone as silly as Bethany is just… gah! So with labor day weekend nearing its end and me back from my road trip to Austin, Texas I give you all of the wonderful ideas I came up with! Hope you enjoy!

Chapter 23: 50 Ways to say Goodbye
I looked through the shelves of the re-sale book shop trying to find a book that caught my eye. Ben was looming behind me picking up random books and reading the back of them. He seemed a bit bored.
“Find anything good yet?” He asked as he came closer and massaged my shoulders a bit.
“No not yet.” I told him ignoring his clammy hands and continuing my hunt.
“Maybe I can help, are you looking for anything specific?” He asked coming up behind me.
“No babe you really don’t have too, I’m done anyway. “ I sighed in defeat as he grabbed my hand. He put his hand under my chin and lifted it up.
“Don’t pout, you’ll get wrinkles.” He said kissing the forming furrow between my brows. He started to lead me towards the door of the store when a title popped out. I quickly slipped my hand out of his and went to it.
So. B. It. By Sarah Weeks
On the cover was a young girl flying a kite in a very clear sky with a small tree-line near the bottom.
“I know this book.” I said under my breath. Ben came over and wrapped his arms around me as I stood reading the back. The memories came flooding in.
“Daddy can you read this to me?” I asked him as I stepped in the hall. Despite I was in fifth grade and knew how to read pretty well, I loved it when he did voices. He was good at voices, even if they were female.
“Sure hun!” He said happily as he picked me up. We walked heavily back to my room as I played with his curls. I had his hair and I loved it. He dropped on my bed as I started a fit of giggles. “When did you start getting so big?” He asked jokingly as I crawled under the covers.
“I don’t know! But I can’t wait till I’m bigger!” I said happily.
“I think I can.” He said with a smile and he kissed my forehead, his beard scratching it. I felt his weight on the end of my bed as he got settled and cracked open the book. “If truth were a crayon, it was up to me to put a wrapper around it and names its color…” he started.
“Are you going to get it?” Ben asked bringing me back to the present. I nodded as I quickly wiped my eye to prevent the tear that was forming from falling. I felt him let go and resume holding my hand as I walked towards the cashier. As I was paying for it Ben had the urge to kiss my hand, it seemed like his silent way of comforting me, which was sweet of him and I appreciated it. I turned to smile at him as we walked out, the bell dinging behind us.
I had my nose stuck in the back for a bit during the day. Sure it was a bit childish but it was still a good book. I heard my phone go off from the coffee table.

Hey Charlie! Harry and I are getting together later on for football game if you want to come along, I know the last time we played we won! So stop by the same park! Bring Ben if her wants to come.
I rolled my eyes at the name Jimmy had entered into my phone awhile back ago but couldn’t help laughing. I looked up at Ben who was sitting on the other side of the couch with me typing away in his laptop.
