Chapter 7: Circus

I was busy tearing up the chicken to cook with when there was a knock on the door. There was no sound of motion to get it.

“Hello? Can somebody get that?” I said staring at the three lazy bodies sitting watching TV, turns out Mr. Sir is a lazy cat. Of course out of those three, two were able, and only one had a reason to actually get up. Erin walked over to the door and opened it.

“Hey!” there was a big shout from outside the door and in walked all five boys. Harry was the last one in holding a bunch of balloons in his hand. I laughed a bit as I noticed several were stuck to his hair. They walked over to kitchen and hugged me.

“Hi, thanks for coming.” I said attempting to hug them without getting them dirty.

“Thanks for inviting us over.” Liam said politely.

“Hey guys, there’s a football game on if you want to watch.” Ben said from the couch obviously trying to make them feel at home. I shot him a thank-you look.

“Who’s playing?” Louis asked walking over with Liam and Zayn already sucked in and most definitely relaxing.

“It’s England against Spain.” Ben replied.

So as they took their seats on the couch and chairs, I turned and resumed cooking. Niall and Erin were talking and laughing together on the island. It was sweet how he looked at her and on occasion brush her hair away from her face. They had such a sweet connection that you could feel it and it just made you want to smile. Harry had placed the balloons down and came over to my work space.

“Do you need any help?” he asked offering his beautiful and empty hands. Yes I just said Harry Styles has beautiful hands… oh gosh.

“What can you do?” I asked him smiling.

“I’m not sure, anything really.” He responded with his signature smile. I felt my heart flutter a bit.

“Can you rip up the rest of the chicken while I get the rice ready?” I asked him.

The rice was on the other side of the counter which was a safe place to be and calm down currently. He nodded and I stood aside allowing him to take up my job. I walked over to where Niall and Erin were sitting.

“What are you guys talking about?” I asked them.

“Niall was just telling me about the week you guys had. It seemed pretty fun. Wish I was there.” Erin said smiling towards him.

“Me too.” Niall said pecking Erin’s cheek and they got up hand in hand to join the rest of the boys watching the football game. Erin has always had a liking to sports so she didn’t really mind cuddling with Niall while cheering on England to beat the bums of those Spaniards. There was a loud groan from the sports savvy group as once again Spain scored a goal. I laughed resuming to my cooking.

“Can we make guacamole?” Harry asked holding up 3 avocados in his hand.

I remembered the last time I made it. I’m good at cooking but when it comes to making guacamole for some reason I always get messy.

“Eh, I don’t know.” I replied taking the chicken and put in with the rice to let it cook.

“I’ll make a deal with you, if I can juggle these for a minute straight you have to make guacamole.” He said smiling.

“Fine then, juggle.” I said standing in front of him and doubting his juggling abilities.

That was a mistake. He quickly started juggling the three avocadoes like a pro as I watched dumbstruck. He laughed at my face when he was done and handed them to me.
