~~~~~~~Wanderer P.O.V.~~~~~~~
Three days had passed since that night. I woke up  and did what was best.
Acted like nothing happened.
Perhaps it wasn't the most tactful way of going about things, but it was necessary.
We continued to ride through the night, the sun beginning the peek over the horizon. I urged the steed beneath me to go faster, for I knew Dawnstar was close, and Ulfric did not have much time before he evolved into his Vampirism. I heard Ulfric curse the sun as it shone brightly into our eyes. His head ducked behind my back, covered by the cloak I lent him.
" We aren't far from Dawnstar, maybe a day." I said over my shoulder.
" I don't think I can go one more day on this blasted beast" he grumbled, his fists clenching against my torso. " I'm also feeling hungry." he said.
I slowed the horse, bringing it to a stop. There was a small cave, just big enough for two people. I slid off of the saddle and busied myself with making a fire. My leg had gotten worse, but I did my best to ignore the pain and just hope that it would heal. My main priority was to get Ulfric back to normal.
" Wanderer, do you think I could be sated by rabbit blood?" Ulfric asked, eyeing one nearby.
" No, it could make you less hungry, but it won't completely satiate you, nor would it prevent you from progressing further into Vampirism." I said, removing the armor from my chest. " It has to be human."
" Fine, I'll go find a bandit somewhere." Ulfric said, turning to leave. I caught his arm in my hand, stopping him.
" No. I can't trust you to not run straight into a village and slaughter the people there." I stated simply, gripping his bicep tightly.
" I am not a monster, Wanderer. I do have feelings and a sense of what is right and what is wrong." he said, clearly offended. He ripped his arm from my grasp, my nails scratching his clothing.
" I know that, Ulfric," I said, softening on him a bit, " what I meant is that I can't trust that you won't stumble into a village and your blood will make you make a mistake. " I said.
" I can control it." he retaliated.
" No, you can't. Please, Ulfric, take it from someone with experience." I pleaded.
" Fine, then where am I getting this blood?" he questioned, a hungry look in his eyes.
" Me, Ulfric. I-"
" No, not again. Or maybe you've forgotten what happened last time." he spat, his eyes hardening. A sigh escaped my lips as I sat down.
" Ulfric, you need to understand that regardless of how you feel, I am simply here to help you learn and win this war. I am gone as soon as you've mastered the Voice." I explained, removing my vest.
" And what if you want to stay at the end of all of this?" he asked.
" It doesn't matter what I want. It's about what has to be done. " I finished, giving him a pointed look.
 " What happened to you that made you so cynical?" Ulfric questioned, sitting next to me.
" Nothing. I just see the world for what it is. Now, let's do this." I said, pulling the thin fabric of my shirt back to reveal my neck. Ulfric moved closer to me reluctantly before sinking his newfound fangs into my neck. Heat radiated from his mouth as his lips tickled my skin. I bit my lip in order to make no noise, but it was difficult. When a vampire fed on someone, the sensation was near indescribably and impossibly pleasurable. I felt my head get light as he fed a little longer than before,  but I allowed it seeing as it had been a while since he last fed. When I started seeing spots I got worried. " Ulfric, that's enough." I said, placing my hands on his shoulders, shoving him ever so lightly. I felt my strength start to go as he continued. " Ulfric, that's too much." I prodded, pushing him harder and attempting to back away. His hand gripped onto my arms tightly and his teeth sunk in further and I felt my own blood run down my chest. " Ulfric, stop!" I finally yelled, kneeing him in the stomach. He unhinged himself from me and doubled over in pain. Blood leaked from the open wound and I scrambled to cover it.
