" OD AH VIING!"

I woke with a start, gripping the handle of my sword as I unseathed it, ready to fight regardless of my groggy state. Galmar still slept on his bed roll, as if nothing had happened. I looked at Asdis, her form illuminated by the sun. Her plump lips stretched into a smirk as she took in my bewildered state.

" Good morning." She quipped, sauntering over to Galmar. I tried my best to avert my eyes as she bent over to shake the man awake. I hadn't really noticed how curvy Asdis was until now, which made me blush scarlet. The woman turned, looking at me with confusion as Galmar got up, surely cursing the morning.

" What's got you flushed?" she asked, coming to the edge of the mountain.

" I-ah- nothing." I stuttered, sheathing my sword.

" Surely it's something."

" I don't care what it is, I want to know what the hell you're shouting for!" Galmar cursed, fuming as he angrily packed away his roll.

" Our ride." she said.

A blast of wind whipped my hair viciously away from my face as brilliant red flashed across the sky. My eye focused on the creature, and realized it was a dragon. I pulled my sword out and readied myself to right alongside Galmar.

" No!" Asdis commanded, pushing our weapons down. " He's a friend."

" A friend? Talos, woman! It's a bloody dragon!" Galmar exclaimed, taking the words right out of my mouth.

Asdis ignored him as she walked over to the dragon that perched itself on the cliff side.

" Drem Yol Lok, Dovahkiin. You have been absent for a long time. I have not heard Dovahzuull, your Dragon-Voice, in a long time." The beast rumbled, it's deep voice shaking in my ribs.

" I am sorry for that, Odahviing, I had to go into hiding in order to protect those I love. " Asdis replied, touching her hand the dragon's snout. " I've missed you."

" And I you Fahdon. I pray you will not disappear again." Odahviing said, growling in what seemed like enjoyment as Asdis gently ran her fingers over his scales.

" I do not plan on it. I am afraid, however, I must ask you a favor." she started, pacing.

" And what would that be Briinah? Sister."

" A ride. For all three of us." Asdis responded, motioning to a bewildered Galmar and I.

The dragon itself looked offended, lifting it's head and shaking as if it had been smacked on the nose.

" You shame me, Dovahkiin. It is only am honor to fly as a Dovah can. What makes you think these Joor are worthy?" Odahviing finally said, offense clear in his tone.

" Because they are the best chance we have at giving Skyrim freedom." Asdis replied, confidence shining in her eyes. " Without them, Skyrim falls to the clutches of those who would have and bind us. Those who would hunt you and set your head as a prize in their halls. "

The dragon huffed in annoyance, clearly not swayed by her excuse.

" I helped you fight for freedom for your people. Now you help me fight for mine." Asdis finished, staring at the beast with intense.

" Briinah, I do-"

" If not for my people then for me. As a friend. As a sister." Asdis quickly added. The dragon still looked unsure, so Asdis continued. " Odahviing, please, I just need one favor and then I swear I-"
