I Woke up the next day to Ashton still sitting in my room. "Ash, you should be resting." I told him. He looked up from his phone and smiled at me. "You're awake." Then he sighed with relief. "Tell one of the other boys to relive you of Lilah duty. You need to be in bed." I told him.
The I remembered what I thought I heard him say last night. "I'm in love with you." The memory rang though my brain. "I can't, Luke's shooting the new movie, Cal's at work and I'm pretty sure Michael is getting some well earned sleep." He told me.
"Well then, can I ask you something?" I said lightly. Approaching the subject as easily as I could. "Anything." He replied. "Before I fell asleep last night.." I trailed off feeling a little awkward. "Keep going Li." Ashton prodded. "Before I fell asleep last night, did you say you were in love with me?" I asked as I started to play with the sheets.
"Oh.. You heard that.." He said quietly. So what I heard must've been what he said. "Yeah.. I did." I said looking up at him. "I meant it you know." Ashton said, his voice getting a bit stronger. "I know Ash." I complied.
Ashton had always shown interest in me. Whether it was compliments, holding my hand, kissing my forehead. When he was around he was always so invested in me. It was nice, but I wasn't sure if I felt the same way about him. Like I loved Ashton. But I wasn't sure if I could have been IN love with Ashton.
"Well when we both get out of here I want to take you on a proper date okay?" He shyly told me. I agreed, just to see if this was going anywhere. I didn't want a boy friend, I just got out of one with a psychopath who tried to murder me. "Can you tell Luke to come see me after filming? I need to talk to him. Set things straight after last night." I asked Ashton.
He left the room to call Luke and honestly I didn't want to set things straight. I wanted to get his opinion on the Ashton situation because I had no fucking clue as to what to do or say on a date with one of my best friends.
