"This is heartache on the big screen."
"Delilah, I'm not going to be in this movie! The script is shit, the story line is shit, it's all just pure shit! It's the typical boy meets girl, they fall in love and live happily ever after." Luke complained as he walks out of his kitchen and into his living room, and I followed close behind. "First of all Lucas, my name is Lilah. Don't call me Delilah. And second of all you haven't auditioned for anything in weeks. Sunset studios has been dying to cast you, and you turn down all their scripts. They asked for you by name Luke! That's huge." I say, trying to convince Luke.
The longer he's not in movies, the worse it makes me look. I'm Luke's talent manager, we've also been best friends since kindergarten. But there's only so much I can do as a friend, buisness is business. "I don't want to do this anymore Li! I hate being someone I'm not." He whined. "Luke please! We both need this. Just go to the audition!" I begged. "Lilah you are so lucky you're my best friend because if not I would burn this shitty script." He says sternly.
"So you'll do it?" I say jumping up and down. "Calm down! It's not a marriage proposal or anything." He says laughing. I roll my eyes and walk towards the front door. "I have to go back to the office, auditions are in an hour. Don't be late please!" I say going outside. "Yeah, Yeah, whatever." He dismisses me. "Bye Lucas!" I call before closing the door. "Bye Delilah!" He yells back at me. I roll my eyes and walk to my car.
