- Thursday morning

I opened my eyes slightly, awakened by the sun shining through my window. It was how I usually woke up, except this morning was...- different. I shifted over in bed so that I was laying on my side, only to see Henrik Holm sleeping peacefully.

Nothing happened- gosh, no! Nothing like that. After we finished our drinks last night and it began to get late, we were both too tired to even care about sleeping arrangements.

Was this... weird? I mean, considering he had a girlfriend and all? No, right? We're just a couple of buds, having drinks and being too lazy to leave the room. Right?

I was snapped out of my thoughts when he started to move a bit in his sleep. I quickly squeezed my eyes shut, scared that he would catch me staring. It seems it was pointless though when I heard his voice.

"Good morning." He mumbled and I felt there was no point in faking anymore.

I opened my eyes and softly smiled, "Morning.." I replied meekly.

"How'd you sleep?" His voice was raspy but soothing at the same time, I liked it- a little too much.

"Honestly, it was one of the best sleeps I've had in awhile." I admitted and laughed, which he returned. A few seconds of silence went by before I spoke up again, "In the mood for bacon and waffles?"

"Always," he smirked and I sat up, throwing the blankets off of me whilst he did the same.

We brushed our teeth first before making our way to the kitchen. He stood beside me as I opened up the fridge, taking out the bacon and orange juice. I set it down on the counter and opened my pantry to find just what I needed- chocolate chips.

I turned to face Henrik, my eyes full of excitement. "Chocolate chip waffles?"

"Oh, yes." He said and grinned. I chuckled and began to grab to pull up a recipe on my phone for waffles. I had never made them homemade, guess I'll just have to figure it out.

I grabbed a mixing bowl along with flour, sugar, eggs, milk, etcetera. "I'll get the bacon on the stove and then I'll work on this with you, sounds good?"

He nodded and I showed him the recipe. Using the ingredients, he began measuring and making the concoction while I put some bacon on a pan. It wasn't long before the kitchen started to smell amazing.

Once I got the slices on, I turned my attention back to him, letting the bacon do it's thing and cook. "How's it going over there?"

His eyes met mine as he rubbed his hands together, brushing off the flour that was still lingering on them. "Good, you wanna pour the chocolate chips in?"

I nodded, reaching for the bag and beginning to dump a generous amount. That was, until Henrik decided it wasn't enough, tipping the end of the bag from my hands so that even more spilled out.

I gasped and held it upright so no more came out. "Henrik! You put so much!"

"The more the better." He said in between laughs.

I glared at him and set the bag down further away from him. "This is why you need to be supervised." Finally, rules reversed- I was the one doing the teasing now.

"I have to be supervised? Me?!" He exclaimed dramatically, putting his hand over his heart.

"Yeah," I nodded aggressively with wide eyes, "you."

He furrowed his eyebrows at me. "You wanna play that game?" He asked, a smirk on his face as he stepped closer to me.

I raised an eyebrow at him, confused to what he meant, but it soon became clear when his hand reached into the bag of flour. When he pulled his now fisted hand out, it was covered in a white dusting. My eyes widened.

"Don't you dare-" I started, but it was too late. I was covered in the powdery substance. This was so cliche, there was no way we were throwing flour at each other right now in the middle of baking.

Now, I had never seen Henrik laugh this hard before. He almost couldn't breathe, "You look- you look so-" he couldn't even form a sentence because he was laughing so hard.

My hands were in the air, "I look so what, Henrik?" It was my turn to laugh, I grabbed flour and dumped it on his head, rubbing it into his hair for extra measure.

"Not the hair!" He yelled and before I knew it, I was lifted by my hips and thrown onto the couch.

"Hey, let go of me!" I yelped as he jumped on me, starting a tickle fight. He knew I was ticklish- it was my weakness.

I tried to fight back but I couldn't stop giggling and screeching like a little girl when his hands tickled my sides. I grabbed his arms in attempt to get him off me, but he was too strong.

"St-stop! Henrik, you better sto-p! Or else!" I managed to let out, which finally distracted him. It was a perfect opportunity to flip us over and start tickling him.

It was his turn to screech like a little girl. It was so loud and funny sounding when it came from him, that I broke out into laughter and fell down, laying beside him on the couch.

He let out a content sigh, the one you have after laughing like a maniac- which is what we both did. We both turned our heads so we were facing each other.

"The bacon is gonna burn." He said bluntly.

I jumped up from the couch and ran over to the stove, seeing that the bacon was perfectly fine. I sighed in relief, "I got so scared, I thought the precious bacon would be ruined."

Finally, he met me over at the kitchen and we continued making the waffles. "I would cry if it did."

"Me too."
