With The Spirit Keeper

Napatingin ang lahat ulit sa akin matapos nilang nilibot ang paningin nila. Base on their facial expressions, I could tell they all have the same question in mind like what I had just asked.

"Huh?! Kami pa talaga ang tinatanong mo?!" Galit na sigaw ni Caina.

"I'm asking myself, actually." I sighed.

"Hindi mo alam kung saan na ngayon pupunta?" Tanong ni Accel. "Paano kaya kung lumibot muna tayo, may mga masasarap daw na pagka—"

"Accel."

"Yeah I know Alv, hindi tayo nandito para mamasyal."

"Alam ko kung saan tayo pupunta pero hindi ko alam kung paano pumunta o kung saan ito. Kaya mas mabuti pang maglakad-lakad tayo at magtanong-tanong." I still remember what Julius said, hanapin ko daw ang Half Moon Inn. He was probably saying my spirits might be there or at least it could help me find them.

Nagsimula kaming maglakad-lakad, spirits weren't looking at us while some do, we can't help it dahil naglalakad kami sa grupo. Pero mukhang wala namang nakakahalata na mga tao talaga kami. There are spirits who were trying to invite us to go somewhere to advertise their businesses more,but we paid them no heed at nagpatuloy sapaghahanap ng inn. Maybe asking about it would help.

"Iha," may kumapit sa balikat mula sa likuran kaya agad akong napatingin dito.

Hindi ko alam kung sino siya pero nakasuot siya ng mahabang damit na abot hanggang paa, and her sleeve reached her elbows. Just like any other spirits, her clothing is a bit sophisticated than it looks. Base on the complexion of her face, she was rather old with signs of wrinkles. Malamig ang kamay niya nang hinawakan niya ako, but shelet go immediately when I faced her.

"Alam ko na may hinahanap ka." And what she said made my brows furrowed. She may be an old lady but I don't trust people easily, especially those who know me. "Ikaw, ikaw ang hinahanap niya." Ang matutulis niyang kuko ay nakatutok sa unahan lang ng mukha ko.

"Sino ka?" Derecha kong tanong, without formalities because I simply don't have time for it.

"Sumama ka sa akin, matutulungan kita." Since I can't use my own ability for the first time right now, I can't tell whether she's scamming me or not. And I really do feel uncomfortable without my ability, mahirap ito dahil buong buhay ko ginagamit ang ability ko. Just for it to disappear like that is really unpleasant.

"At bakit naman sa tingin mo pagkakatiwalaan kita?"

"Dahil kailangan mo ako, iha. Alam kong may pinagdadaanan ka. Halika at sumama ka sa akin, gawin mo at makikita mo ang hinahanap mo."

"Ano ang magagawa mo?" She showed me a smile which I didn't have any idea kung totoo ba o hindi, tapos nilapit niya ang mukha niya sa akin.

"Marami ang pwede kong magawa sayo, sumama ka lang." Bulong niya. She sounded so persuasive.

She was about to hold my shoulder again nang biglang sumulpot sa gitna namin si Silverrium. His glares penetrated through the old woman's eyes making the latter click her tongue at umalis na agad. Mukhang nainis yata. Just what is that?

"Are you stupid or what?! It may be peaceful here in Spirit Land but that doesn't mean all the spirits here are good! If you had fell for her traps siguro ngayon kung saang banda ka na ng mundo makikita!" So I was almost tricked huh? Pero paanp niya naman nalaman na may hinahanap ako?
