Resetting Fate

Nagpalabas ako ng dalawang daggers at agad na sinaksak ang isa sa palapit na reaper tsaka umikot at sinaksak ang isang dagger sa isa pang kalaban. Tumakbo ulit ako palayo sa kanila pero mas mabilis yata sila kaya napalibutan na naman ulit ako. Tinapon ko ang dalawang daggers sa itaas at dinikit ang dalawang kamo ko. This caused a wave of air pressure sending them all away.

Nang bumaba na ang dalawang daggers ay sinipa ko ito sa direksyon ng dalawang reapers at bumaon ito sa mga dibdib nila as they disappeared to ashes. I was about to run ahead when I felt my neck throbbing, I stopped on my tracks and held the mark resurfacing again. How many times has it tried to appear already?

I was too preoccupied with my thoughts that I didn't notice the incoming sword. A reaper swung its weapon around slashing my back. I basically screamed in pain as blood oozed out of the splitting flesh behind me. I jumped forward to get away from him only to be met by another reaper. My energy is already too low, I've been fighting with them how-long-what now. Reapers are basically just shadows with cloaks covering their entire bodies. Habang tumatakbo ay pinapalipad ko ang mga daggers ko sa ibabaw at isa-isang tinatamaan ang mga lumalapit sa akin. Am I gonna die now?

I chuckled. I can't die. Kailangan ko pang ayusin ang mga bagay na nagsimulang mali...otherwise...otherwise I'd lose a friend. Seriously? Thinking about her at this moment? Heh. I still need to show her I'm far more stronger.

"Are you just going to lay there?" I suddenly opened my eyes and saw the Master looking at me. I smiled.

"You're late, Andrei." I sat back up and then gritted my teeth dahil sa sakit.

"I didn't expect the dark energy to spread in this forest so fast." She squatted behind me at hinaplos ang sugat ko kaya napahiyaw ako.

"Be careful, will you?!" Naiinis kong reklamo.

"Quit yapping." I could feel her transferring some of her energy papunta sa akin, my body felt relaxed as she does so. Ramdam ko na hinihilom niya ang sugat ko. "You still need medical attention, I only closed the wound." Tumayo na siya at tinulungan ako.

"Nakuha mo na ba ang hinahanap mo dito?" Nandito kami ngayon sa Death Forest. "At nasaan si Zen?"

A forest which consists of different levels of waves, at sa iba't ibang waves na ito ay may nangyayari. We've already been here for a week already and different waves already occured since then. The appearance of reapers are only a part of it. Kung hindi pa kami aalis dito baka may mga halimaw nang lalabas na hindi na namin kakayanin. Kagabi ay iniwan ako nitong si Andrei and it's already morning pero madilim parin ang paligid.
