CHAPTER 2- Hurt

Hey! Just came back i promised that the next chapter will be long so here it is :)

Lacey's P.O.V.

Gahh, school day again. Kinda disappointing tho but it's great that i will get to see Minghao again. After doing all my routine and a lot of time preparing I changed my clothes,

And went straight to school. As I reached the place, I walked to my locker and get my things for my first subject which is Math. A very boring subject.

I walked to to my room and took my usual spot. After everyone gathering Inside, we're finally complete just as our teacher came.

After Wasting an hour for the 1st subject, it is finally done. I went back to my lockers and get my things for the 2nd subject, English, this time Minghao is my classmate.

As i fix my things, I suddenly heard some girls screaming and fangirling, i close my lockers and turn around. My heart pound like a crazy drum as i saw Minghao walking with his friends dramatically.

His head suddenly turned to me so i quickly turn around and open my locker again. I felt shy and embarrassed making an eye contact with him and I don't want my heart pounding like an idiot. It hurts.

I went to my classroom and sat on my chair after a few minutes, the teacher came she was about to speak when someone suddenly barged in to the room.

"Mr. Xu you are late again" my teacher said.

"I'm sorry i got trapped in so many girls!, it's not my fault" he pouted a little.

"Alright, go take your sit" my teacher said and he just nod. He walk past me and sit at the back of me.

Well that's where he always sit cause he wanted to sit beside his friend Junhui. I don't really have a seatmate cause because that's what I wanted.

While I focus on my writing i Minghao's voice echoed at the back of me.

"Aw come on, i can't see what Mr. Han is writing. It's so small" he rant. "can i look at yours?" He asked jun.

"No look at someone else don't bother me" Jun said

"Aww come on!" He said. I shrug my shoulders slightly and tries to ignore him.

I continued what i am doing then suddenly i felt someone occupied the seat beside me. I looked up to see who it was. And It was Minghao.

"Can i sit here? can't see at the back" he asked me while smiling, i just nodded and continue writing but still surprised, i can't concentrate it really struggles me when he's close to me.

As time passes by, the guy beside me didn't think of leaving. The 2nd subject is finally done, it was Lunch time. I started fixing my things and get ready to go.

"Hey, thanks for letting me sit here Lacey" i turned around and saw Minghao.

"N-no prob, it's not my property. So you don't have to thank me."

"but still! I like your company. Very quiet and it relaxes me. Not like others.." I somehow felt flustered by hearing those words come out of his mouth. It ruins the normal state of my heart. The air was starting to suffocate me again and I don't want him to see me struggle.

"o-ok, I'll be going first" I said and tried to escape from him but he quickly gripped my wrist.

"I like you, let's be friends." he said then pulled me somewhere. We ended up arriving in the cafeteria and some people noticed our arrival making them stare at us.

It was slowly making me uncomfortable, just then I realized he was still holding me. I quickly pulled back my hand as he let go of it.

"i apreciate it, but I need to go do something else. See you!" I said and run to the bathroom. I was alone in there probably because it was lunch time. I closed the door and lean on it trying to calm myself.

"ah i can't breath really" i went out of the bathroom and went to the cafeteria to buy water. As soon as I got it, I quickly drink it to make my heart beat back to its normal speed. My breath is normal again.

Instead of eating for lunch I walk upstairs to the rooftop to have some fresh air. I couldn’t help but to smile everytime I remember Minghao.

Only if he knows, he made me smile today like an idiot today. Making my heart thump so bad. He's just really killing me.

When i reached the top floor, I was about to open the door but quickly hide when I saw someone in there. As curiosity eats me, I tried to took a peek.

When my eyes landed on the view, I suddenly regret what I did. I suddenly hoped I didn't got curious.

I felt my world crushed as I saw my beloved sunshine's lips resting on the lips of the almost perfect girl I saw in my entire life. I happened to remember the name of the beautiful angel, it was Kyulkyung. Minghao's best friend.

I was wrong the whole time. Entirely wrong. I thought they were just friends, but as I saw the perfect moment for the two. It was now crystal clear to me what they're real relationship is.

My feet automatically walk backwards, I slowly started getting further away from them. When I felt something wet on my cheeks, I got surprised but it's not surprising to feel hurt when you saw your beloved with his love.

I was too hurt and too pathetic that time. I didn't know I was in the brink of dying. As I took another step backwards, there was no step to step onto.

I was going to fall to death but thankfully graciously, someone caught my torso. The touch made me flinch.

"whoops!" a guy voice was heard behind me. I turn my head and saw an angelic face, it was Kim jungwoo from NCT. My eyes widened and I quickly stand properly. I bowed 90° degrees and close my eyes.

"I.. I'm so sorry...." I stuttered.

"it's fine" he smiled sweetly. I stood straight again and fixed my look. "next Time, Becareful" he winked and I nodded slowly. I almost blushed when he's face got closer to mine as if he's checking something. "were you crying?" he asked.

I got shy and quickly wiped away my remaining tears.

"I'm not"

"you are," he argued. "Anyway, what's your name?" there was something in my mind telling me not to tell him my name, but there was a part of me saying that I should.

"Lacey..."

"Lacey, huh? Do I need to introduce myself?" he asks.

"no..."

"Great! Let's be friends then!"
