CHAPTER 19- Basketball

Lacey's P.O.V.

Yesterday in school, I couldn't talk to Minghao properly. It's either he is spacing out or not in the mood to talk. I suddenly thought that he might be thinking about the weird thing I've said last night.

I winced and decided to text him, just to makes sure he's not thinking about it.

Lacey- Hey Hao goodluck tommorow<3

Minghao- thanks Lacey

Lacey- make sure your gonna win that game okie?

Minghao- okie but I'm still confused about what you said yesterday

I sighed getting embarrassed after he texted me that. I shouldn't have said that.

Lacey- don't think about that anymore it's not important ^0^

Minghao- Ok Ms. Lady

Lacey- Ms. Lady? Anyway stop thinking about that anymore. Think about the game instead ;)

Minghao- yeah I will. Thanks again<3

I closed my phone and finally breath a bit comfortable. At least I could remove that from his mind. I stood up and went out to get some snacks that I ran out of. As I pick different chips and drinks, my shoulders jerked up after I heard someone calling my name.

"Laceyy~!" I shot my head to the source of sound and saw Lisa with her three other friends waving at me.

"hey," I greet back.

"oh just to let you know this is Jisoo unnie and Jennie." she pointed out the two. I bowed and introduced myself too.

"nice meeting you. I'm Park Lacey." I said and they greeted back with a smile.

"What are you doing here?" Lisa ask me

"uh... just gonna buy snacks, I ran out of it."

"oh, by the way who will you cheer tommorow?"

"oh the in the basketball?" she nodded. "NCT and Seventeen"

"okay then, we'll cheer with you."

"Thanks." i smiled.

"that's good, we gotta go now. Take care!" they waved and walk away

"Bye!" I said and continue shopping.

The day of the game finally came. I was too excited since there's no lectures for us, no classes to attend to. I went to the cafeteria to buy my friends something to cheer them up. I bought Winwin and Jungwoo a Choco bar and a milk while I got Minghao a yogurt and granola bar.

I went to the open court and walk to the bleachers. Lisa waved at me and pointed the seat beside them. I ran to them and took a sit beside Rose.

"let's ready our voice to cheer." Jisoo said.

"yeah.." we all agreed. Lisa get her bag and pull out something from it. It was a pompoms that is color matched to the team we're cheering. She handed us one by one.

"I made that yesterday since I've got nothing to do" she explained. I open my bag and pull out a banner I made too. "woah, that's great."

"I hope so," I smiled.

The teams went inside the court and I can see my friends. Our seats were just two rows away from the field. It was a perfect spot.

After filling up the court and bleachers, the teachers finally decided to start the games.
