CHAPTER 7- Reveal

Lacey P.O.V.

After spending time with the subjects, it was finally lunch time. I walk to the cafeteria alone and saw Jungwoo.

"Hey lacey wanna join us for lunch?" Jungwoo asked.

"oh, uh.. About that. Do you mind if I skip for now?" I crack a smile. "kyulkyung asked me to join her, but don't worry! I promise tomorrow to join you guys"

"oh okay, have fun!"

"thanks" i smiled again. I walked near the counter but someone suddenly grabbed my arms and hug it. I turn to look and saw Kyulkyung.

"Come on lacey let's go to our seat!" she pulled me to Seventeen's table. I felt shy when I met them.

"Are you sure we will seat here?" I whispered to her.

"Of course! dont worry it's ok" she said and seat beside Minghao. "take the seat beside Hoshi, Lacey"

I hesitately walk to the seat between Hoshi and Wonwoo. Because of the small uncomfortable feeling I had, an idea came to my mind to avoid it.

"Umm i-i will just buy food first, i'll be right back" i said and stand up but a hand grabbed my wrist softly.

"Wait!" I turn and saw Hoshi. "I'll come with you" he said and put his arms on shoulders making me blush a little. "Come on" he said.

Kyulkyung P.O.V.

When the two walked away, I can see Minghao's sharp gaze pinned to the two. I tapped his shoulder but the guy didn't budge.

"Hey Hao, can i taste your food?" I asked him but he ignore me again. "Hey-"

"Why did you bring her here?" he turned to me and his other friends turn to us.

"What's wrong about it? dont you like it?"

"I hate it!" He smashed his fist on the table making me flinch. He turn his gaze away from me but I just look at him as his face turned surprised. I look to where his eyes facing and saw Lacey standing there the whole time.

The pain in her eyes can be seen.

"Lacey..." Minghao said.

Lacey P.O.V.

Hoshi left his wallet on the table so we went back to get it.

"Why did you bring her here?!" Minghao said.

"What's wrong about it? dont you like it?" Kyulkyung said.

"I hate it!" Minghao said as his head turned to me, then a few secs. he realised that it was me standing there in the whole time. Kyulkyung look at me too.

"Lacey...." minghao said

"No, I-its ok if you dont want to sit with me." I said and start picking up my things. "I can j-join with my friends" i said, smiled shortly and slowly run away.

I feel like tears were about to fell, I can’t let them see me like that. I ran away faster but I was a very dumb person. I bump to a man with a lot of impact, my things fell.

"I-I'm sorry...." I stutter and sniff as my tears fell and as I pick my things up.

"Lacey?" you got stopped for a while before looking up. You regret looking at the man when you saw his face.

"Win..." He helped you to stood up and cupped your face.

"are you crying?" he said and tried to look at your face you avoid his gaze.
