The Maidens and Me

( Crescent's POV)
I never believed the whole maiden story even if people told me it was real.  Since I was little I was told the same fable about the Maidens. They are supposed to be these special girls that can control different things like make the sun come up and the moon go down. In my school we even have a holiday for the maidens, like who even wants to celebrate girls that aren't even real. The only girl I believe is real is my girlfriend and I would like to keep it that way. All of my friends tell me that the summer maiden is watching us during summer break but that's a load of baloney. My girlfriend even takes my side that they aren't real and just some fable. If anyone had any real proof that the maidens are real then I would change my mind. But fables stay fables and they don't ever change that.
