Chapter 3

(Brookes pov) I was walking through the park acting like the normal teen I never was. I am the daughter of the fall maiden. I have always loved fall and the autumn scent of leaves and the breeze. I was sitting on a park bench and a chipmunk came up and sat on my right leg. I stroked his fur with my finger and after a few minutes it hopped of and scurried away. I decided to sit for awhile before leaning on a lamp post near the street. I stood there people watching and I saw this car drive towards me slowly then stopped on the side of the road. The boy stepped out of the car. He had blue hair and shoulders slightly hung down. "May I help you handsome?," I ask "sorry? Uh-i'm taken," "I was being sarcastic. I'm not interested don't worry, you're not my type," "Ok well why are you standing on the side of the road?" he asks "Because I am people watching," I say "Watch out its windy," I flicked my fingers and wind blew leaves all around him and one got in his face. "I saw you flick...y-you're a maiden," "Correction I am not a maiden... I am the daughter of a maiden. the fall maiden to be exact," He just stared "I never believed in the maidens," "Of course you didn't no one does anymore. It was a thing in the past," I say giggling "Hey we are going to meet up with a friend if you would like to join," "Are you assuming I don't have friends?," "No not at all just asking if you'd like to broaden your friend list," "Ok sure that sounds nice," I got in the back seat and the boy turned around and said "My name is crescent and this is iris. We just got engaged," "That's great. Congratulations," I say "Thank you," says iris "What's your name?," "Brooke, and i'm not sure if he told you but I am a second gen. Maiden," I sat in the back looking out the window, as the two talked it up. When we got to the house a boy with raven black hair glasses met us at the door. He wore red and black with headphones around his neck. "Hey guys come on i-Oh whos this hottie?," He say leaning against the doorframe," he looked at me up and down "Oh im blushing. The name is brooke," I put out out my hand and he kissed it moving up to my shoulder "Alright perv, it's getting cold," Crescent says tapping his foot "ladies first," he says winking at me. We walk in and sit down on the couch with the boy next to me and the others across from us. "I believe we need introductions," I say "Right," says iris "Chris meet brooke, brooke meet chris. Now for the good news" "Oh what is it?," chris asks excitedly. Crescent lifts Iris' hand and shows the ring "We're engaged," she said smiling But it's summer break now and I have the whole day to spend time with my girlfriend. I have been dating her for a whole year now and I don't ever want to lose her. I arrived at her doorstep I knocked on the door. " Hello there handsome," said Iris in a playful tone" Hi Iris can I come in," I said. She let me inside and I took off my shoes at the door. " So what brings you here this time," asked Iris biting her lip. " Well I am here to see my girlfriend," I said reaching for her hand. She started to blush but she tried to hide it from me. " Um.. Do you want something to eat or drink," asked Iris " no thank you," I said politely. She sat down on the couch and I sat very close to her. " let me turn on the TV for us," said Iris reaching for the remote.  She turned on the TV and I waited for the perfect moment to do something. "What channel should we watch," asked Iris. " I know just the one," I said while getting on top of Iris. I started to tickle her belly ," Stop it you're too much," laughed Iris. " alright we should watch some Netflix," I suggested. She flipped over to Netflix and picked a movie to watch. " This movie is good don't you think," I asked "yeah Lion King is the best movie ever made," said Iris jumping off the couch. " Then let's start the movie if you love it so much," I said while pulling her back down. We started the movie and Iris laid her head on my shoulder. "Holy crap that's amazing," exclaimed chris jumping from his seat I smile at his excitedness He walked over to crescent and gave him a man hug. And kisses irisis cheek "Congratulation you two! You two were meant for eachother," "thanks man," then chris comes back and sits next to me "Who else have you told?," he asks "No one else but you two," said crescent "We found her on the side of the road near the park. Park street I believe. She told us she was the fall maidens daughter," "Shit really?," he says "They are correct I am a absolutely normal kid except for the fact that I somewhat control fall," "sexy," he says putting his arm over my shoulder. I take it and bring it back around saying "Your a sweet kid but not yet," "Aw you're breaking my heart," I look over and the others are having their own conversations occasionally making sure he doesn't misbehave "It's fine" I mouthed "don't take it to personal," I say "But I can't resist. There is a hot maiden sitting next to me I just have no other option than to hold you tight against my body," "What a flirt you are.... Ok fine go ahead," he puts his arm around my shoulder yet again.
