My view:
When you first take a look at Survivor, it’s not your usual read. Most readers of Wattpad are looking for some hot, steamy make-out sessions between extremely attractive people.
But this short story is about an elderly woman looking back on her life, reliving it in a matter of five pages.
Beautifully written, emotive and incredibly descriptive, this story takes the reader through a thought-provoking time with Kate Collins.
Kate who survived so much throughout her life, who has lived on to tell the tale to us.
She may be a fictitious character or maybe there’s some real person out there who has lived this life – either way, this character’s words have almost made me want to cry, the writing is just so incredibly powerful and moving.
