Title: Does The Truth Even Exist Anymore?
Author: GodHades
Genre: Werewolf/Watty Awards
Summary: Alexander is just a regular teenager, with a dangerous and mysterious past. He doesn't know it yet but his father is one of the Werewolf King(s). On the day of hiss 17th birthday his life changes forever. Are you ready...for the truth?
My view:
Okay, so there were quite a few mistakes within this story. But before I comment on those, I have to comment on the author's note - because the author kept saying 'your' instead if 'you're' which is something that iritates. You + are = you're. Your = posessive adjective, meaning ownership of something. Please correct this.
Now, onto the problems within the story itself:
You never put punctuation outside of the speech marks the way that I've seen this author do several times! And many other readers have commented on these mistakes and yet nothing has been done to make a move to correct them.
"Ladedad?"
"Booomaloom!"
Not:
"Gralamadanda"!
"BowChickaWaWa"?
This is completely and utterly not correct at all so if it could be corrected... it would be grand.
And now comes something that I've already mentioned before:
"Hello, my name is Nora," she said.
Not:
"Hello, my name is Nora." she said.
OR
"Hello, my name is Nora." She said.
It should always be the first option here please.
And, also, pretty please stop using un-needed capital letters for added emphasis. Sometimes italics have been used, but capital's have been used a lot and it's just plain ANNOYING. See? Seems rude, right?
But ignoring all these obvious mistakes, I think that the story is good, the plot strong but could use a little more fluffing up. I think it's a good Werewolf story, in comparison to some out there, which can suck a lot. Especially when Vampires are involved. It's just hard to get something that's unique and good. But I thought this was good and I'd tell anyone to give it a chance, if they can bypass the author's mistakes revoling around the writing.
Out of ten? Five.
