11-19 was the score and if Kendra was to make this shot, the game would be over and we could finally go home. The boys put up a good game but not as good as ours. As Kendra inches up to the goal she is blocked by 2 boys, so penny and I rush over to free her up. She finally takes the shot and the ball starts circling the rim and finally drops through the net. I ran towards my friends and we all began jumping, screaming, and hugging each other. "Y'all we just beat some of best players on the basketball team" Loren said in disbelief. We say nice game to the boys and start to pack up our things. " Good game dawn, you're going to have to teach me some of your techniques" Demetrius said while gently bumping me with his shoulder. At that moment I remembered the game was shirts vs skins. My eyes began to wonder looking at this man glistening body. Just the sweat dripping off his neck onto his toned chest was enough to drive me insane. I start to blush and look at the shoes. Suddenly a rough shove of my shoulder took me out of my thoughts. " I'm taking you back home so hurry up tar baby" Isaiah said as he caught everyone's attention. " aye, don't talk and shove her like that what's wrong with you" one of Angelo friends named brad said. "Y'all rode together" Angelo asked curiously. All I could do was put my head down as I thought about what occurred before I went inside the center. " Um, I'll take you home if there's a problem" Angelo says as he lifts my chin with his finger. I shake my head and agree to Angelo taking me home. For some reason even though I just met him, he makes me feel comfortable, safe, and secure. I look into his eyes and it genuinely seems like he cares. " Fine take her, less weight on my tires" Isaiah said as he glanced at me and walked away.
