Chapter 21

I meet up with kendra, penny, and loren and we hug each other. " you didn't call me last night so we could finish our talk" loren looks at me with worried eyes. " I'm fine, I promise" I squeeze her hand for reassurance and she smiles. I introduced them to brad and they all seem to hit it off but loren still stares at me. I stick my tongue out at her and she just shakes her head and laughs. As much as I try to convince her that I'm fine, loren knows me better than the rest of my friends so I know she won't let this go easily. All of a sudden we hear a bunch of whistling and laughter. We follow where the noises are coming from and it's angelo and demetrius in skimpy tight shorts as they promised. We all gasp for air from laughing to hard. " A bet is a bet right" angelo said coming to me as he hugs me and ruffles me hair.

I pulled back and say " I didn't think you'll actually do it" I stare at his and demetrius hairy legs and begin to laugh again. " I'm a man of my word remember that" he winks and walks off the talk to his other friends. My heart flutters a little and I look down but then I look up and look at demetrius who's eyes are already on me. I smile at him and he smiles back. I walk up and hug him too. " If it makes you feel any better, your legs look way better than Angelo's" I pout my lips at him and began laughing again. " Cute, you got jokes" he said bursting with laughter. We stare at each other for a minute and as he's about to say something izzy pops up. " Bae why are you dressed like that" izzy scrunches up her nose in disgust. " what, you don't like it" he sticks his butt out and threw up a peace sign which caused the entire hallway to roar with laughs and screams.

She rolls her eyes and walks off. " don't worry, you look good. You should wear this more often" I tell him, demetrius laughs and buries his face into his hands and begins to blush. " Your so cute when your embarrassed" I said while pinching his cheeks. He looks up and smirks "I'm not cute, I'm a lot of things but I haven't been able to show you yet" demetrius said while lifting my chin and walks away. What the hell was that, was he just flirting with me. Okay dawn, from now on you only see angelo and demetrius as friends okay. I take a deep breath and walk back to where my friends are. " So lady's lunch is on us for the whole week, so if you want anything like snacks or anything just come to us" angelo said and bows in front of us. " Hopefully today's lunch isn't meatballs, we have already seen too many balls today and that's enough for me." brad said while covering his eyes and running away sending another wave of laughter to break out. The bell rings and everyone starts to separate and being to start this crazy school day.
