Chapter 11

"Son be safe while driving this girl, she's not reckless like that izzy girl" Mr. Carter said. Dawns heart fell to her feet as she saw the person she never wanted to see outside of school, Isaiah. "Yes ma'am" Isaiah said rolling his eyes after he saw dawn. As he walks to his car, dawn says "look mr and mrs carter I could drive myself". "No it's fine, a girl of your...growth shouldn't be driving" Mrs.Carter says looking up and down at dawn.

This made dawn upset because she thought this woman was nice. She didn't see how her "growth" has to do with driving. Dawn wanted to cuss her out but dawn refrained herself because this was her moms only friends and dawn knew her mother doesn't have a ton of close friends. "Don't worry about her, she says things she doesn't mean when she hasn't taken her pills" Mr. Carter said trying to make me laugh, which he succeeded.

"Okay bye mom love you" dawn says as she heads out the door and into Isaiah's truck. As I put my seat belt on and closed the door, Isaiah starts to blast lil uzi. I start to laugh a little when he starts to sing and dance. "What you laughing at" Isaiah asks turning his music down so he could hear me. Dawn says "nothing" as she looks out the window. "No for real tell me" Isaiah said. "Your singing and dancing, you can't do either" dawn chuckles again. "You got jokes, you know your not that weird as I thought you were" Isaiah says making me smile a little.

Isaiah finally pulls into the parking lot of the center. "Aye before you get out, can you grab my gym bag from the back seat" Isaiah said. Dawn says " umm sure". She didn't see the bag nowhere in the back seat and she knew it had to be in the third row but she knew she will have to bend over the seat. She was hesitant at first but she does it and feels like Isaiah is staring at her in an indecent way. She turns her body towards the window but still feels his eyes on her, so she tries to hurry up. Dawn finally sees it but it's stuck underneath one of the seats. Dawn hears a clicking noise but doesn't make a big deal out of it because she was shaking the bag and she thought it might have been that. "Hold on you might break something" Isaiah says staring at dawn bending over and making his way to where she was to get the bag. Dawn and Isaiah finally gets the bag unhooked from underneath the seat and dawn grabs it and says "Got it, lets g-" dawn is stopped by Isaiah kissing her.
